Hello, how does the radio feel overall? I heard it's pretty light compared to other Futaba radios. Side profile looks thin compared to the 16SZ or 18SZ. Were you able to get a firm grip on the back? Also how does the gimbal feel? How does the sliders feel? How does the rotary dials feel?

I set my 16IZ and before that my 12FG the same way you are describing. Use a 3 way switch and the conditions set up screen. On AFR screen you need to set each condition to single setting instead of group. Then you can have your rudder, elevator and aileron deflections change on the same switch. I label each setting landing (low rate), sport, and 3D (max deflection).

Thankyou ! Because who would have thunk it that the Dual rate menu didn’t actually set dual rates .. but something called AFR 🤦🏻♂️
Nice transmitter. Futaba always been great. Have you ever had any issues with signal loss and/or range checks.
How would you set it up just for a Duel Rate on a T16 IZ Transmitter
I have the 14SG and sets up the same for triple rates ,of course mine isn't touch screen though.

I have a 14sg and 16iz is pretty much the same ,go into camber and set it up ,really easy.

Yes you can. You would just assign each surface rate to the same switch
