I was mainly focusing on Nick Wayne this whole entire match cause we all knew what Darby can do, already proves that he belongs and is the heart and soul of this company. Now I just have to say that when it comes to Nick Wayne he did not disappoint at all. In a couple years mainly to develop a new moveset I can see him with a championship just don’t know which one
@@hanshen3588 Fu(k Moxley. I scoffed when he said that lol. I can think of like 5 guys off the top of my head that hold that title before he would. Darby being #1. He puts over damn near everyone. Who has Moxley loss to that wasn't a top guy?
Darby choosing not to hit the coffin drop on Wayne shows how much at cross roads Darby Allin is with himself, deciding whether to put Wayne away for good or extend the match by allowing Wayne to get back into it cleanly without a finisher or signature maneuver. Its the teacher vs student "look how easy I could've ended this, but I have so much love for you that I can't end it like that. So then him kicking Wayne in the head showcases how annoyed and frustrated he was with himself for not being aggressive enough with Wayne earlier in the match. Which also proved to be regrettable decsion, becasue Darby actually went for an even more painful finish in using that submission hold though at what cost because Wayne appeared to be hurt. There that's the breakdown of the match.

Stick Wayne special? Dude, he doesn't stand out one bit, like wtf does this dude have that stands out from any other high-flyer in AEW? What?! He's 18?! That's what makes him stand out?! He's a dime a dozen, an underdeveloped, Dollar Store version of Ospreay, even he has presence, character, and great in-ring ability, and despite being flippy at times, is very fluid and versatile with his moveset. It's cool if he inspired Wayne, but he'll have to find his OWN character down the line. I get this dude is new talent, but damn, I really do not know how a lot of fans think this guy, who's so bland and interchangeable, is an IT wrestler.

I like the way you think actually, like you said the TNT title could be the Real World Title for Collision. Plus it would hopefully put an end to the 100 day title reign. Either way, with this they could do an event for champion v champion. I’m down for this idea my guy but they are going to need to change the design of the belt

I agree with you 100%, thedobster5939! Looking at their two distinct styles and personalities, aggressive wise, who do you think would win this match - Wayne, with his quick, well-coordinated ability or HOOK with his aggressive, dominating presence and attack? Not sure what your response might be, but I think the first time they would meet, HOOK would prevail, and in future matches perhaps 50-50 odds.
@@coachrv30 Hooks has incredible endurance and stamina compared to Wayne. Wayne’s style his high flyer which decreases his stamina, hook would only need a split second to lock in red rum.
@@thedobster5939, I agree with you on this match, but I was making reference to a match between Wayne and HOOK. Considering contrasting styles between the two, who do you think would win this match? I think the first time, at least, HOOK's aggressive style might be more than enough to win this one. But over a number of matches between the two, Wayne might be able to win a few himself.
Nick should do that super/thrust kick as his finish, have him stand in the corner Shaun Michaels-like to set it up, then he could just drill them with it, would look great!

Does anyone think a kid who has had 3 matches in AEW should even be in line for an AEW world title shot ahead of most of the other main eventers in this company? The entire bracket is totally transparent. And this has happened a lot lately, where the final match in the tournament is blatantly obvious, because everyone else in the tournament feels seemingly random, other than 1 or 2 people who were already in storylines with the champion in question. It probably comes from the whole "lets cluster like 4 major shows together in the course of 2 months, then have no PPVs for like 3 months" thing AEW is doing right now. Then from the end of November until the end of March there are no PPVs, and like 1 or 2 special Dynamites, and thats it. Take the 6 PPVs in the current schedule, and spread them with 8 week builds between them throughout the year, and put the big Dynamites/Battle of the Belts shows on the 4th week of that cycle, as the halfway marker to the next PPV.
