I also love the French videos, listening to ballet terms spoken properly. Very informative and lovely ladies at the barre😉

Very nice way to explain the dynamic of grands battements. I would insist more on how to rub on the floor to get there, because it makes the same sensation, it lengthen the legs and it gives the wright energy. A grand battement should start like a battement jeté that gets always bigger and bigger (Avoids the willing to go high and by that move the hips).

Beautiful insight into how our thoughts can influence our movements! I'll keep that in mind next time I do ballet class, thanks! :D

Please make more English videos, this is wonderful! I danced ballet until I was 15 and was taught at many schools throughout the US, NO ONE explains these this well!

Yo. It is really good. I'm an adult with an awful 5th (about 60 degrees turn out). I'm also male. Two questions (1) What would you recommend for arabesque en derrière? For example, I intentionally keep my body up at the cost of lifting the leg about 45 degrees (or so it feels); and (2) is it true that males are typically tighter on the hips? My female mates seem to have more flexibility in this area...

This teacher is too methodical & too verbose - you could just say whilst doing the grand battement kick, keep your head straight end of story. Little said more done let's go :)
