    This video convinced me to buy one. I drove up to the factory today (from SE CT) and picked it up at the warehouse to save on shipping. They were very friendly and made it an easy process. Best canopy made.

      @@RedimixCompanies I don't recall the price and the receipt is packed away during home renovation, but I did drive to Boylston. It was easy to find and they had everything ready for me when I arrived. The box was too big to fit in my 2007 Prius, but they helped be unpack it and the top fit perfectly.

    I've looked at all the brands of QD canopies and this is hands down the best design and quality. I got to have a QD because i have to fold my ROPS to fit my tractor in my old barn. I'll throw the canopy on when out mowing.

    Great video I highly recommend the canopy. When I ordered my tractor in 2018 I ordered it with a canopy, J.Deere refers it as a Sun Shade. Don't remember what I paid but I think the brand you got is a little better made. To remove mine, you have to remove half a dozen bolts. What I like about yours is if your in brush and low lying tree limbs you can remove it really easy. With mine you need an arsenal of tools.

    • @ForestToFarm
      @ForestToFarm  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Dean. Yeah its a great addition. The ability to remove it basically on the fly is priceless. With our somewhat smaller forest/farm we are in an open field in the sun one minute and possibly in the trees the next. When heading into a forested area with low hanging limbs all we have to do is stand up and with a couple squeezes and a lift its on the ground awaiting our return. Can’t beat it.

    It's funny most of the videos talk about sun. It rained where I am all of April all of May and all of June. So this top would be great for keeping dry.

    • @ForestToFarm
      @ForestToFarm  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah its nice to at least keep your head and upper body dry. I was working about a mile from home the other day. Its rained off and on a few times. No wind. I was pretty much dry.

    Hi guys; great video! I have been looking at this canopy for awhile and am planning on pulling the trigger soon. I'm in northeastern CT, so I will probably pick it up at their place in MA to save on the shipping. I liked your idea of placing some rubber material between the ROPS and the mounting plate. What would you recommend that I could use?

    • @ForestToFarm
      @ForestToFarm  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, Thanks! We still have not had time to find a rubber option. Hope to get to that soon but work has kept us running lately. We have some rubber mat material that we plan to try but I honestly do not know where it came from. What ever we use it will have to be pretty tough. I was thinking of trying some old inner tube cut up. Maybe from an old tractor tire or something big that might be a bit more on the robust side. Ha that just got me thinking, we may try an old lawn mower tire and cut the side walls out of it. Should be pretty solid yet easy to cut and form into something that would work yet not have steel cords in the side walls or at least I doubt they do. Sorry I can not tell you more but hey your question has just gotten us a little closer. :) Hummm or maybe some of that mat they use in showers under the tile?

      @@ForestToFarm Hey Terry; hope all is well. Just thought I would let you know that I picked up my canopy and installed it a couple weeks ago. I spoke with the guys at Artillian before ordering and they were great. Could not be happier with the canopy and the quality of design, material, and construction. Really appreciate the video you did as it helped to influence my decision and also aided in the install. Be well!!

      @@ForestToFarm yes, what concerned me the most was the big freeze that happened in Texas after Australia went up in flames, shows how vulnerable each government is when they are not ready for such extreme events, I hope you are doing well, at least our winter is predicted to be colder and more rain fall this year until about August, we did have green patches inside the middle of Australia where the rainfall usually isn't high enough to make grass grow so that was a nice relief.
