but is it still portable.. fitting in trunk of a car? If not there are lots of other mobility devices just as good or better. The Segway Blumil for instance which actually is portable and easily fits in a hatchback.
Segway is huge and if it fails you dont have your wheelchair with you.. It has to go in the back or trunk, so it is difficult on your own. With the triride, only the front needs to go in the trunk, the rest I can put in from my drivers seat. While being a cool thing, The Segway does not provide independance.
@@brin57 A Blumil isn't that huge. It's smaller than this combined with a Wheelchair which would take up more room in a car. Im speaking more for a mobility device in general though like for those who have trouble walking or cant walk far, rather than those who can't walk at all.
Is this right , I have been told you can not have 48v rear motors and batteries , even though they are on the form? I was told if you have a 36v version it is speed limited but if you have the 48v it’s not? Now I’m being told you can’t have the 48v version? I know triride are a very difficult company to deal with but the miss information is ridiculous. I’m trying to spend nearly £16,000 ( more than a brand new car ) and it’s nearly impossible to try things or even buy things . How incompetent can the Italians be. Can you please explain why 48v is no longer available, and confirm the speed won’t be restricted to 12mph with 36v.
Do not purchase a cry ride ebike. I spent over 9, 000 dollars and got a Chinese knock off.. Not only waited over 3 months but received no battery charger, even though I had ordered two batteries, no keys to unlock them either. A Walmart front fork off a 100 dollar bike . A kiddy bell instead of a horn and a 30 dollar light, strap on crap and not mounted for over a hundred dollars. Triride is a rip off and a bunch of thieves. I got taken.
I hope you sent it back for a refund? that is scandalous! we need a very reliable machine for crying out loud! Thats a dirty trick no charger when its an elctric machine.

The front wheel detaches as do the chair wheels, so it should fit in a large trunk.

Did you buy directly from Triride or an approved seller? It sounds like you got scammed
