@@nmarakanond For me, its tough to answer this the more I play in the WoW 11s. Yupp, there is a full length carbon plate sadwiched between the midsole like in the Yushuai 18 Ultra.. It has the same forefoot flex propulsion thing the WoW 10 had going.
I haven't seen the certified tech specs just yet , but from my assessment, there appears to be one bottom loaded. I'll check some sources and circle back. Stability is definitely not an issue at all after playing in them twice. It also has a wider base than the WoW 10.
hmm so thats close.. I think I'll edge the WOW 11s over the 18 Ultra but ill have to nitpick a little. The Wow 11s are better in the following ways: 1. The insole is thicker and has some rebound to it, so I prefer the step in comfort vs the 18 Ultra 2. The mesh strobel board in the WoW 11 also feels better vs the standard strobel board in the 18 Ultras 2. The low top design of the 11s give me more ankle mobility which I prefere 3. The materials on the 11s feel more premium than the 18 Ultra(which itself isnt bad). I like the leather and fabric combo The 18 Ultra is better in terms of outsole dutability as the grooves are thick and deep. Theyre also using some extra wear resistant rubber.
How do these compare to the Wade 10’s? In the 10s the heel toe transition wasn’t great. It felt like your heal sunk into the rear of the shoe and the forefoot was more elevated due to extra cushioning under the forefoot.
So in the Wow 10, the boom in the backfoot was pretty thick with the very soft cage so the compression in the backfoot is a bit more than in the WoW11, the dual density plastic in the WoW 11 gives a more solid feel in the heel while still being cushioned, so this one might be more your thing based on the experience you had with the 10s. Also the weight distribution here seems to be slightly improved although they are slightly heavier than the WoW 10s, its weird but just holding the shoes , you can feel them trying to tilt forward slightly in your hand and you also feel that when you have them on foot. Where the WoW10 does better is in terms of traction durability.
Thanks for being thorough! My all time fav shoe for performance is the Jordan 36. The cushion, heel toe transition, and the torsion plate make them explosive. Have you tried them? If yes, how do they compare to the Wade 11?
@@Cx5197 Thats a great shoe, I'll say the 36 and 11s feel very similar from a cushion and heel to toe transition standpoint. The full length zoom strobel is one of my favorite setups of all time, If I had to nitpick, I would say the traction in the 36s stops slightly harder than the 11s. However, the weight distribution is slightly better in the WoW 11s than in the 36s(the forefoot section is almost weightless so your forefoot is always rotating clockwise about your heel's axis) . On the flipside, the 36s have that minimal mesh upper so ventilation is way better than in the WoW 11 so you can play in them longer and still be fresh which is a big deal if you play longer hours and in warm temperatures. Lastly the WoW 11s are lighter. From a courtfeel perspective, they are both not the absolute best i've tested, but still pretty good. I personally would sacrifice a tiny bit of courtfeel for a great cushion setup anyways.

I just played in them 2x , quite frankly I’m disappointed. They have a slightly mushy feel, poor traction on dust, also getting fraying on the medial outsole, there is U- stitching on the forward part of the instep, I have a hotspot on the top lateral part of the shoe. This is likely a quality control issue that should not show up on a 225 $ shoe. The top down look is clownish. I do like the side silhouette, impact protection is top notch but less responsive than the wow 10s. I’ll start to wear them on a casual basis and see if they break in better. They run a little long but I’d hesitate on going down half size. They need to change that outsole asap. Constantly have wipe off these dust magnets. I’ve got 5 pairs of the 10s but it’s doubtful I’ll get another pair of these. I’ve ordered the All City 12s regular version, and the 808 v4 ultra.
The dust performance and durability definitely jumped out at me. They should have gone with the same CGU implementation of the yu shuai 18 ultra at least. The all city 12s and 808 4 ultras are good choices for sure. With the regular 12s giving more courtfeel than the 808 4 ultras. Those do better on dust and durability as well in comparison to the 11s.
The shoe is so nice but that outsole is too much, it looks like he they were more focus on the design than the performance of the outsole, I'm surprised you liked the traction.
Agreed, I would have preferred the traction pattern and durability of the WoW 10s. I was really surprised to see that the WoW 11s had a decent stop despite the weird pattern... but its not feasible for playing on an outdoor courts. Tougher rubber on the outsole and better breathability, and we would have to consider these as a possible all timer.
I think thats something the Asian brands can definitely do better, their shoes are typically made narrow and it wouldnt take alot to make them just slightly wider(or offer different widths) while maintaining aesthetically pleasing builds.
@@theshoesayerThe shoes are narrow for a reason. The more the shoe tapers at the front the easier your joints can stack when pushing of the ground and jumping which improves performance. So there is a tradeoff there and since these are performance shoes, feet health is a secondary concern to the manufacturers. I‘m not saying it‘s good this way, just pointing out the reason
@TPMaster1 Dude if we're talking about strictly a business/manufacturing/performance standpoint... Then why not offer a stability option. You know tradeoffs and all right? My vertical is just fine with the 2 inches it might lose at the cost of my bunions and ankle stability and lateral support and entire postural health and do I really need to keep going. Frankly I just find this excuse of an answer to be as lazy as the people who kept the same tapered fashion choice design from the 1800's, all so people could imitate the rich.

Wow 10 is better tbh
🔥🔥
Looks nice but the price it's so expensive
Yoo! It really is. I hope its cheaper when it drops on retail.
Should’ve kept the same traction as wow10s tbh
Yup!! Probably just a little more spaced out so dust doesnt get trapped in between the grooves easily.
Those do better on dust and durability as well in comparison to the 11s.
these look harden-esque
Hmm. True.. I kinda see what you mean🤔
I should NOT have to wear clown shoes if I DONT want bunions! Why isnt this figured out yet, its 2024already?!? And i dont even have wide feet.
I think thats something the Asian brands can definitely do better, their shoes are typically made narrow and it wouldnt take alot to make them just slightly wider(or offer different widths) while maintaining aesthetically pleasing builds.
@@theshoesayer Thanks for your reply and the review!
@@YouGotServed835 Appreciate it!
So basically these are probably really good for a player that exclusively plays on courts and doesn’t wear their shoes except for hooping.
The price is just insane. 225 plus tax. Hard to justify
Facts!
