If your wand seems stuck and can't be removed, I got ya covered. You need to uncoil the plugin cord all the way. The cord basically ties it down to the base, so the wand is stuck in place. I spent WAY too much time searching for answers. I am an idiot. I hope this helps one person. This vacuum seems to do the job well, and is certainly of good quality. The only downside, is it isn't like what we are used to, so it can seem a bit confusing. It is frustrating af, but so far it appears that it was worth the on-sale price that I paid.
You need to jiggle the parts. There is one bit on the main unit that doesn't affix itself properly to the rest of the unit that you need to adjust into the right position. I have no idea exactly what it is. I just reposition everything and suddenly it starts to work again. I no longer have this model though so I can't make another video for you.
Ohh thankyou for advising that it needs to be in the upright position for the suction to go through the hose. I thought there was a switch. And one would think that being a woman/house wife, the I wouldv worked that out LOL
I have the same vacuum I bought it at Best Buy stores mine is the same exact one Dyson DC 33 I’ve had this for over seven years and it still runs a brand new I love this vacuum cleaner everything that Dyson makes is gold means it’s perfect the best vacuum you could ever buy

Without somebody else holding the camera videos like this aren't nearly as much help as they could be. I cannot see the use of the tubing and attachments as the camera is moving all over the place!
U need a video for this machine. The printed manual makes my head spin. U need driving lessons for this contraption soooooo u bettet have internet to see operational videos. It was a gift. I would never bought one. Im vaccuming not driving a Porsche. Who in the H drives a Porsche to the grocery store. This design is full of games and VERY EASY TO SNAP and break in the set up. 👎

I am using for first time but it just sucks from the pipe but not from the downside. Not sure how to enable it suck from the down!!
