Considering the amount of time many of us spend in our cars at night these reports are so important. Thank you. I am sure the manufactures turn on your TH-cam when designing their lighting systems. Well done mate. I got mine last week and I am still struggling to find a setup that pleases me. And I am surprised (not positive...) to learn that they have even downgraded the ambient lighting obviously on the 2024 models. :-( I do not have lights on the front under the dashboard, which looks very nice in yours. Sad that they do not offer at least 2-3 light colors for the ambient light. Even my old W221 from 2012 had 3 options... 🤷♀
Mike. Thank you. Question. Can you describe how the side mirror works in reverse? How do you adjust the auto tilt angle? I own a 2024 XC90, and the current workaround is to set my third driver memory to my preferred reverse setting or to double-click the right side mirror. I can't figure out how to change the auto-tilt setting when in reverse.
I agree - the new EX90 looks like a concept. I don't particularly like the design of the front and back. From the side is still acceptable, however, many things and good qualities were not inherited from the previous generation
@Jeevraj but still I think you can get a brand new 2022 model from the dealer I have 2021 limited I want to see it on this channel so I can have a better evaluation Avalon Limited has one of the best headlights!
Hey Mike nice informative video. Are these ambient lights genuine? As all the other videos with a 2023 even 2024 night drives have non. Just don't understand what is happening, only your video is showing that there is some ambient lighting in the interior for the XC90.
@@mediumrarepotato7385 compared to other cars i've driven at night, the xc90's lights (with the maximum set of lights) are ok, especially when the fog lights are used in addition
@@Alberts_Kviesis If you look at the tests from IIHS it is short of optimal range in almost all tests. Reflectors are nice and bright but don’t reach very far.
So glad I purchased a 2022 a while back so I didn't have to deal with those gimmicky 'mood' lights inside. What an off-putting 'feature'. I hope Volvo deprecates that silliness.
We have a 2022 XC60 on a lease at 16k miles the front rotors and pads needed to be replaced and the tires were worn on. Their shop told me it’s a common problem because their cars are like “tanks” 🙄 stay away from this brand
Those lights are insane. When I'm at a stop light or sign my turn signal lights up every sign in front of me and even behind.

No, it can only be adjusted in brightness. They removed the color change option for the overhead mood lights for 2023.

Don't blame manufacturers, outdated US regulations are to blame quite unfortunately.

you can swap the taillights for the euro spec. they have amber signals.

The 360 degree camera at night is so dark you cant use the camera. Is there anything one can do to help this
