I am so happy Polish and Latin Spanish are top contenders here, two of my favorite versions! Although I did fall in love with Slovene POP version, which is odd because I usually prefer voice variety but the two singers just killed it. Also I am NOT afraid to admit Romanian is a banger, that chorus will always stand out in my head lol. But Carla's final note on the hill in Latin Spanish has to be one of the most iconic, stuck in my head all these years later!

Here are some thoughts I've had while watching: "This one's advantage is that I have not been listening to it for 12 years, and have not had the chance to get annoyed by every little thing." - I mean this pretty much sums up my experience with the Mongolian and Kazakh dubs. They do usually have nice songs though. It may just be me being forgetful, but how many dubs actually make "Winter wrap up, winter wrap up" just one line other than Hungarian, EU Spanish and Slovak? That's clever lyrics writing right there. Too bad that from the second chorus, the Hungarian dub elongated "télnek", such a shame. I've always liked the whispery nature of Danish Twilight in this song. Fits her demenaour in context. My favourite versions are pretty much your top 12 (especially Turkish, Norwegian, Polish and Serbian Minimax). Seriously though, putting two Minimax dubs in your top 10? Clearly this ranking was influenced by nostalgia, and I'm all here for it, the Serbian Minimax and Romanian dubs are great (or perhaps nostalgic guilty pleasures, who can tell at this point).
Totally! It must be really hard for the translators to have all the lyrics still fit and also have the lyrics be as iconic as the original. Arabic also made it one line, and it sounds good! Hahaha, you're kind of right, about the nostalgia, but while I understand people might not like the Romanian version, I genuinely think the Serbian Minimax version is so good. These background singers are everything to me! My only criticism that I didn't put in the video is that their line after "zimi kraj je" sounds so weak, it's very "go girl, give us nothing". But with my nostalgia goggles, I don't even mind, I'm just like "that's what makes it unique!!" xD
Absolutely agree the Serbian Minimax one is genuinely fantastic. Similarly, a few season 2 songs, Smile and BBBFF in particular had some nice backing vocals that have unfortunately been lost to time (they used to be on TH-cam in poor quality many years ago).

Hii, so I'm working on a new ranking, and I just found possibly a third Croatian dub? Idk, @crtaci_na_srpskom uploaded what seems like a Croatian Minimax dub on TH-cam, it is season 1 through 8. It is not mentioned on any of the wiki pages that I normally go to. It looks legit, but isn't it weird that no one has talked about it? I thought maybe you have heard something about it?

@sem5263 Hi! So I found on a Dubdb page that Hindi, Tamil and Telugu all have the same singer, but unfortunately I didn't find an official source to verify. They do sound very similar, tho, so if they are two separate singers, they still deserve to be in the same placement :P

But other than that, I have no reason to believe it's the same person. Tamil/Telugu and Hindi are completely different languages (not even the same family), so it must be uncommon for them to share VAs :P My understanding is that Tamil or Telugu speakers don't necessarily speak Hindi.

I honestly agree with most of your opinions on these versions, but for me my two favorites would have to be Norwegian (those harmonies and perfect notes are like ear candy if ya know what i mean) and Latin Spanish.
Are you going to rank the CMC anytime soon? I find their voices very interesting. Especially Apple Bloom who has probably the best Czech voice in the entire show.
I've been trying to make a CMC ranking for years, but it always ends up not feeling right. My problem: 1. Most really good CMC songs are harmonizing songs (Hearts as Strong as Horses, We'll Make our Mark, Being Big is all it Takes) and it's hard to hear what CMC VA is contributing to the harmonizing. 2. Some of the other CMC songs like the CMC theme song and Sweetie Belle's HNQN are almost "purposefully annoying" and not as entertaining to rank. 3. Apple Bloom's ballad, which is a good song, is a hard one to rank, and it's not a really fun song to listen to over and over again. I'm trying to figure out a way to make a CMC ranking that I can be satisfied with 😇
To clear up any confusion, here are all the roles of Krisztina Nádorfi: Rainbow Dash (Winter Wrap Up, Art of the Dress's reprise*) Applejack (Winter Wrap Up, Art of the Dress's reprise*) Fluttershy (Winter Wrap Up, Art of the Dress's reprise*, So Many Wonders, At the Gala)** Twilight (At the Gala) *The speaking parts in the reprise were done by the respective speaking VAs, it's only the actual singing that was done by Bori Csuha & Krisztina Nádorfi. **So pretty much everything for Fluttershy was sang by Krisztina Nádorfi, except Hush Now Lullaby. Technically speaking she also did Rarity in the later part of WWU, but I think the director didn't realise that part featured someone other than Fluttershy. Rarity was Bori Csuha at the start of WWU and every other S01 song, so I think my theory makes sense. [I should also mention she sang for Princess Skystar in the movie, which was what originally raised my suspicion about Bori not actually singing everything.]

I'm afraid to tell in Latin Spanish, RD and AJ are sung by their regular VA's. It's just a line or two that were sung by Maggie.
