Legendary Swedish artist and producer Axwell has teamed up with his protégé Shapov for brand new track, ‘Belong’. The soaring, anthemic vocal will sound familiar to anyone who has seen either artist playing live over the last few months, as it has rapidly become a fan favourite. The record will be released via Axwell’s own Axtone Records label, and includes a ‘Remode’ version from Axwell & Years.
Axwell said: "Working with Shapov has been a real pleasure. He is one of the most talented artists around right now, and I’m pleased to be a part of his musical journey and to have him representing Axtone at shows all around the world"
Shapov said: “We're very excited to be unleashing ‘Belong’ to the world! It’s been amazing to hear crowds singing it back to us already when we've play it out!”
Axwell is currently in the midst of a packed summer schedule of Axwell Λ Ingrosso shows, and is also taking time out for his solo performances as well as some special Axtone dates which will include appearances from Shapov. He recently hosted an Axtone stage at Tomorrowland, and last week’s Ushuaia Ibiza Axwell Λ Ingrosso show was a special Axtone party. Forthcoming dates include Axtone Mondays at Aquarius, Croatia on August 8 (Shapov) and August 15 (Axwell).

I think, most of you who don't like this video and say negative things about it don't really understand the situation. It was a contest of independent creators, and the selection of the video who gonna be the official music video wasn't a question of quality or story. This video has been choose by Axwell & Shapov cause they just like it, not because it was the one who asked for the most amount of work or for her "correspondance" with the music, for that they don't need you they have enough money. No, on this they wanted an original idea made by a fan, and that's what this video is, and this is why they choose this and not another. So stop blaming this guy, he worked hard as the others, and he has been choose, that's all. This guy don't deserve his win less than another, so please now a little more acceptation, and if you want "better" music video, then create your music, do your video, and enjoy your own job.

Sorry but I have to say it again...... am a huge fan of Axwell since many years ago, and when someone posted on his twitter a link where you could see all the videos from the contest I ran to check them. Spent a few hours watching proposals, 14 pages! And there were 4 that were clearly standing. I even took notes.. Kanacea Pro, this guy had a great story, but maybe lack of presentation, but promising. And then the 3 winners for me. JMSanz with a beautiful story in Ibiza with references to Axwell that i think it would be the one fans would love the most. David Miranda with a nice video with a girl dancing in a box similar to the cover artwork for the song, it reminded me of Loreen, and third Joshimar that took a second finalist place (at least some justice). This winner video has nothing to do with the effort and other level that Axwell mentioned, And when I saw it among the rest, i thought "I could have recorded my dog cause even my dog is funnier than this!" I was expecting something else from Axwell to be honest, IF i did not see the others i would be happy i guess, but after seeing the SUPER huge work of other contestants, if i were them, i would be deeply offended by the winner they chose. And you have to accept opinions or never let anyone leak the contestant videos link!!!!!!

Gotta say you're kind of right but first some use axwell refrences to get a little bit more favoritism (i think thats the word). Second the is not supost to be funny. And last this video tells the story of a lost dog that at the he returns back where he belongs just like the song which i think it's about. This is just my opinion.

because there was a contest for the video and some people like me could see other contestants and this one is not the best... not even between a top 5. And many people noticed like me, that this is WEIRD that they chose this video when they had many others, with better quality, plot, effort, effects.... to choose between.

Esto es una broma o una estrategia de marketing, hay cosas raras, me siento como una fan muy triste. Esta cancion tan profunda, emocional, llena de grandeza, y el video la cosa más superficial del mundo con incoherencias como un perro pidiendo dinero pero el perro se lo lleva? Donde? en el lomo? JAJA. Lo siento pero he visto otras propuestas de concursantes, mi favorita sin duda la de Ibiza, sitio que adoro y al que yo pensaba que Axwell tambien (que lástima), bueno podian haber encargado el video sin más y no hacer que otros profesionales trabajasen en vano. Para mi muchos de vosotros, esos otros concursantes merecíais ganar infinitamente mas.

The video is beautiful.
But it has nothing to do with music, which is in this case fast, melodic house music full of energy. The dog just does not fit. I still love Axtone tho.
It tells the story a dog who gets lost and gets back to where he belongs. I think its very fitting.
