    Thanks for your review. I am a systems engineer so I have a similar but yet different view. I like to have a fully comprehensive solution with the least cost and maximum benefit and value. So I bought I HR Long bolt on grapple for around $1060 and now I am adding the bolt on 5 fork addition similar to your but a different brand but same design. I will get mine next Wednesday. So I will be able to scoop with the forks and secure the load with the grapple. Best of both world at a very reasonable cost. But to take it one step further I plan on either building some add-ons from plywood or 3D Print them. The idea is to let the forks scoop the material but will in the gap between the forks so that leaves, branches, and debris cannot fall through between the forks. Since the 3D printing and plywood is so cheap I can have several tailored add-ons tailored to different kinds of applications.

    Yeh, pretty cool, definitely a better option for brush compared to regular bolt-on pallet forks....that's what I got and they're a PIA!

    I bought a brand new grapple for 900. Look around Craig's for small equipment dealers. It's the best overall attachment I've bought. Run your own hydraulics. Go to Napa, get a set of hoses made and just zip tie(heavy ties) the hoses to loader and run beside fender to back hydraulics. I have a ls xr3135 less than year old.

      vtdrive12 Hey thanks for the excellent idea on running hydraulics from the rear to the front. Just got a LS MT225E about 2 weeks ago and was trying to decide which way to go for a front remote, i.e. diverter, dedicated remote, etc. Your idea makes the most sense for me and my wallet. Think I'll route the lines neatly and permanently under the tractor and leave them in place and they'll be ready when I need them. Thanks again! 👍

    I'm in the same situation. I would like to have a grapple but not in the budget. The way I look at it us if it saves you from heavy lifting then it's already paid for itself. Go buy some cheap bags of concrete and throw on your brush mower for extra ballast. Food for thought.

    A socket for square head and cordless impact to secure clamping bolts would make life easier. Good video 👍.

      You're not wrong, but it's not so bad. I only have to spin them a couple of turns to remove them from the bucket. What I really need to do is get around to installing the bolt on hooks that I bought 2 months ago...

  • @SA-lr1sf
    @SA-lr1sf 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    They are also good for people who don't want a bunch of expensive equipment laying around. I wish they would make them iinstall deeper into the Bucket so that they don't come off as easy. I may weld some hooks inside in the back of my Bucket so that i chain them. I also have the regular clamp on Forks. The only problem with them is that they come off when you move around and do some work.

  • @jdub229r

    Just got mine, think I'll weld some nuts to the tops of the bolts. Then I can put them on with a cordless impact.

    Looking at your tractor the hood is just like mine but my grille guard goes to top of hood. mine has a way to fold it away to open the hood, just thought that was interesting.

    Bought mine on Ebay $212.00 free shipping.
    Very satisfied and well built. Not a Titan product!
    Bought a Titan ripper and on the third or fourth use it broke and Titan wouldn't replace it!?!?!? I no longer buy Titan Attachments.

    I'm with you, cheap is the way. I ended up going pallet forks for now, because they're half the price. But I may get a hair up my ass, and go to the scrap yard and get to fabercobblin.
    Anyways thanks for the info.

    • @BlackSparrowRanch
      @BlackSparrowRanch  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      To be quite honest, I use my pallet forks more than anything. They do a lot of things the brush forks will do. I really don't need both of them, but there's no point in selling the brush forks for half what I paid for them (or less). If you can get some scrap and make some yourself, it's probably worth it.

    I have the Titan Clamp on fork. They need to clamp on deeper into the Bucket. They keep coming off.

    It looks like your tractor and equipment will be very helpful to you. With so much land and property, it will surely pay for itself. Are you going to eventually get a chipper? And, has Beth been up on the tractor? I would love to see her on it:-) Also, nice overalls..saw them when you rescued her and the dead battery:) Love you guys.......

    • @BlackSparrowRanch
      @BlackSparrowRanch  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A tractor is one of those things that once you get one, you don't know how you went without one for so long. Beth actually had the opportunity to drive it before me, but she hasn't done any actual "tractoring." I'm hoping to snag my dad's chipper as soon as they sell their old house. I'd love to get one that hooks up to the tractor, but it's a lot of $$$$.

      Black Sparrow Ranch I feel the same way. I got my dad's old tractor and thought I'd just use it here and there for fun but soon realized I couldn't get by without it.

    Do you have ballast in the rear tires? That would help offset the loader. Plus it will give to better traction if you plan to do any plowing.

    • @BlackSparrowRanch
      @BlackSparrowRanch  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not yet. It's on my infinitely long list of things I need/want to do (including having front remotes installed and getting a grapple). That stuff isn't cheap.

    • @Rdrake1413
      @Rdrake1413 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah pretty expensive. I was a mechanic for a Local John Deer dealer and I have done many set ups on loaders and remotes for customers. You can get a valve for putting ballast in your tires from a company called www.gemplers.com/ I have one and put water in my tires for ballast. I live in the south and doesn't realty get cold enough in the winter to freeze. You can add anti-freeze if you like. We did that when I worked for John Deere.

      @@BlackSparrowRanch The Grapple will be infinitly more usefull. You are right in everything is so expensive. Save a bunch by going used, just be patient and wait for right deal. Remember on most things tractor BIGger is better. Not so true on Grapple. Lighter and smaller can be friend. You have limited lift and smaller reaches in places plus manuverable. On hyd remotes 1200 is crazy. This is very well documented with lots of help. 500-800 for a kit, easily do yourself in a realistic 3+ hours. Get yourself on tractorbynet.com.

    Correction: P.S.- I had a 351 V-8 powered Woodchuck chipper, a "chuck and duck (Mexican killer)", that I got for $600 and spent like $1400 for just parts fixing it myself. In the end I figured all the hours spent just fixing it, could have been used to burn instead of chip. Forget the chipper, just burn debris or if you are in a cold climate use it for heating. The less equipment you have to maintain the better.

    I think that for the jobs you showed, a 7 or 13 spear type fork attachment would work better, although it would cost almost 3x more. Those Titan Debris forks are a bargain for buckets that have no teeth, as they are basically extended teeth. They hold a lot of weight and may be more functional overall versus the spears route, and even if they are not quite as good, they are almost 1/3 the price. I'm getting a 60" Titan debris fork. Thanks for the video. (P.S.- I had a 351 V-8 powered Woodchuck chipper, a "chuck and duck" (Mexican killer), that I got for $600 and spent like $1400 for just parts fixing it myself. I agree. If I'd known about those 7 spear attachments at the time, I would've considered it. I really want a grapple, but I really can't afford that right now. I need to find a used landscape rake. That would really come in handy for those leaves and stuff.
