thank you. I have been studying about Ely, and find that it must have been an ancient holy place, destroyed by the Romans in revenge against the Iceni, [a supposition] then later the earliest Romano-Briton Christians probably had a church here before the pagan Anglo-Saxons arrived, and it was destroyed again. [another supposition] Then later, Princess Etheldreda wished to devote herself to holy life, and she founded a double monastery, which was destroyed in 870 by the Danes (Vikings) (who had also destroyed Iona a few times) [facts]. The follows the stories of Hereward the Wake (Saxons and Normans) - and then the Reformation took away Etheldreda’s shrine. Time has come for Christians to rejoin the thanksgiving supper and say to one another I love you, to know that the love is more important than anything else. What is to prevent this? God bless Ely Cathedral, family and friends, Our Lady of Walsingham, family and friends, I had a strange feeling that somehow Etheldreda was the Blessed Virgin disguised as a Holy Princess, surely there’s some truth in this thought, amen
