I dont get it. People that like dubstep dont like trap. People that like trap dont like dubstep. I myself am a lover of both genres and the brig goes hard asf on this track
it has to do with the number of bars passed and the tempo used. just like how in dubstep, many drops are at 0:55 because 4 bars at 140bpm takes 55 seconds
IMAO the track isnt "ruined" by the trap part. I have a bigger problem with the cheasy melody and the horrible vocoder vocales! Overall still a good track !

qwertyexp I think it's because the drop is really monotonous and it requires less creativity vs a well done dubstep drop for example Pegboard Nerds - Self Destruction. And the overall trap genre is based on the rap music (imo I might be wrong) but without lyrics, and it has some mix between dubstep, and most of the edm genre went in to this genre which represents less creativity with drops and a lot of monotonous melodies. But if you can prove me wrong I accept that and I'm gonna learn more about trap music why is it good or bad.

What are the bars
16 counts of the tempo. the pattern of a song is usually repeated this way, so you have 1 pattern that repeats 4-8 entire times before the drop hits
