  • In this video, I show you how to remove Windows from a dual-boot with Manjaro.
Disclaimer: While the odds are extremely low, there is a very small chance that resizing partitions will cause data loss. Because of this, it's a good idea to make a backup of your data beforehand. I WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DATA LOSS THAT MAY OCCUR BY FOLLOWING THIS GUIDE! Also, deleting your Windows partition will delete any data that is on it. So be sure to have your data migrated to your Linux Mint partition BEFORE doing this!
    Commands:
    sudo -i
    cd /boot/efi/EFI
    rm -rf Microsoft
    exit
    sudo update-grub
This video is part of a series entitled "A Guide to Switching to Linux | Manjaro Edition". The purpose of this series is to make it easier for a Windows user to migrate to Linux (or in the case of this guide, Manjaro specifically) by going over what Manjaro is, how to install it, how to use it, and what to expect in your journey of switching from Windows to Linux, and kind of get you "jumpstarted" on Manjaro.

If you deleted your Windows partition, all your Windows files should be gone as well.
