About 25 years ago, we got our first TV. I was raised Mennonite, and had never had one before.
I was walking deeply with God, praying about everything.
One day, watching a show, I found myself praying for the situations in the show... and laughed at myself for doing so.
The Lord spoke to me: "The spirit cannot pretend. That's the world of the fleshly imagination. Your spirit automatically wants to pray. Don't laugh at your spirit - you're training it one way or another. Either by praying, or by turning it off."
Since then, I have chosen not to watch much TV.
I want to train my spirit to automatically talk to God every minute, about everything.
Worldly entertainment trains the spirit to shut up and sit down.

Last 15 years night. I haven't gone in the bed without reading the scripture or something spiritual which help me growing spiritually before i go to sleep. I purposefully condition myself and discipline myself to read the word. I started to feel word without feeling like it.. I did it when i didn't feel like it. I set up schedule. I set up hours to pray.. Way to develop spiritual appetite is that you read word when you don't want to feel to read the word. You pray when you don't feel like praying. You have this schedule.. and you pray and read the word of god, without feeling like it.. You have more than hunger th
2. Feeding in the word of god. 41:12,
Read.
Study.
Meditate.
You take portion of scripture and look overall of story. You look for it word by word. You study word by word and meditate what this scripture says to you.. Mutter. You speak to yourself!! Meditating the word! Confessing the word.. Thinking about it! You chew long period of time and you chew meat and take all nutrinions and flavour for it.. Feeding you the word of god.
3. Communion with God.. Talking prayer and you talk to God.. Sometimes you need to vent out and you share what you feel at it.. You can tell what is going on to God. Sometimes when you shut up and let God to speak to you..
1)Talking prayer
2) Listening prayer
3) Practising the presence of God. You need to stop and remember and recognize the fact. God hasn't left you or forsaken you. Some people think that they have condemnation.. When you mess up. Then God is with you.. Feel your presence..
Enemy tries to do something based on your feeling. If you based on emotions. But if you are same 24/7, and you don't rely on your feelings.. Your emotions are totally fictional when there is comedy. You can laugh till point you're crying.'
4) 52:39 Fellowship with like minded christian. If you continue to fellowship with people who don't believe like you believe. You will lower yourself to their level. You will believe like you believe. You need to believe in the way like you want to believe. You get around those people whom believe IN THE WAY YOU WANT TO BELIEVE.
You need to fellowship with people in the way you want to believe. Find people who believe like you want to believe.. You become with those whom you hang with... I made decision earlier alone. I walk alone rather than walk with people who are bringing me to other direction.. I don't have lot of friends.. I rather have no relationships, deny or disregard and nullify what i have been trained myself to believe according to the word of god. Constantly poisoning me with their carbage.. If there is people, who have power and real faith.. I get their tapes and i play them around.. Sumrall was going out of him..
I like to listen message and sermon.. Lesten Sumrall.. I pull out strength even he was death. Sumrall had faith and strength into god. Be close to people whom you admire and have that faith.. Fellowship with lake-minded. People who are dead and resist the truth there in church. Go in other people..
Get around with LIFE. Would you come to preach. Folks there are lively or death. We have hundreds of young people. Young people are smart enough to leave dead church..
57:44 Public confession. Who you are in Christ and who Christ in you. You wake up. You confess that you Jesus is lord of me, lord of my city, lord of my finances, lord of my faith... You say it strong, full of faith.. Mark 16 and Matthew 28.. You preach in every way.. I preach the gospel to the every creature.. You make verses and you make into statements...

Matthew 7:12, I do to others, what i want them to do to me!! Then you declare!! I have anointing. It abides in me and i have anointing which teaches me.. Anointing within me teaches all things. You start to say these things..
Luke 10:19.. I have power and authority over enemy.. I have all authority over enemy and nothing won't hurt me. You say that and declare it with power and faith.. It's written. Jesus beat devil with scriptures..
John 14:12.. He who believes in me, shall do same miracles and because i go to father, you will do more miracles.. You willl do great things, because jesus went to fathers.. When sickness, devil and death were defeated..
When we get spirit filled. We should wittness and instead we pray and worship in the church. We are filled in the holy spirit, to be mighty witness.
6. Praying the tongues.. John G. Lake said that praying tongues were making in his ministry..It's vital. All miracles would have not seen in his ministry without praying in the tongues... There is diversities for tongues.. How should i suppose to speak with tongues.
Pray tongues with LOUD. Flesh doesn't want to pray loud. When you have crisis. You speak tongues with directly and you direct tongues to that situation. You turn your tongues. Your words are battle ram and battle axe.. When you don't know how to pray. Pray with tongues.. If you pray against sickness. Pray with tongues..
Pray tongues with LONG! People want to pray short and quiet. But pray tongues with long and loud!! Pray tongues loud and strong!!
Build up spiritual stamina. Take a walk. Walk 30 minutes in english and back 30 minutes in tongues.. Intensity.. Pray with intensity as fight your life depends on it.. When you start to pray with tongues. You will speak a lot of tongues..

I agree with the point he makes that sometimes people are good at confessing the right thing but they inwardly have a double mindedness.
But i know someone who was on hospice care from cancer. And we had a healing intercessory prayer vigil and the next morning she woke up and got out of bed and ate a breakfast. But the doctor talked her into another experimental treatment and went back on her deathbed. Incredibly, two women from our church went to her house and prayed the Lord take her from her suffering. She died.

1. Renew your mind, but yet we need to be renewed in the spirit of your mind....so you will know what's God's will for yourselves and in any given situation.
2. We rely only with the relationship we have with Christ, not the sick person's faith.
3. The power of God is mechanical, just like God sets sun in motion and it is done....Mose's striking the rock...although he was keep out of promised land because he is not doing God's instructed way, but still, the water flows out of the rock...although it's not exactly God's will for Moses striking the rock to get water....
4. God's will is not always done, otherwise we won't have to pray God's will be done....God has always been setting up men as His co-laborers on earthly matters...
5. For anything with God first and foremost it has to be a desire ...
6. Matt 5:6~ if you hungering and thirsting after righteousness for you shall be filled....but since we are already filled and make righteous...so now it is refered to the hunger of doing the will of God...
7. The best way to develop a spiritual appetite is to have spiritual discipline.
8. Read, study, and meditate the Word of God....
9. You need talking prayers and listening prayers...
10. The power of God did not go aacorging to our fickle emotions or feelings...The power of God dose not depends on us, but we depends on Him...
11. You need to fellowship with people you believe or you want to believe...not to lower your standard of faith...
12. You have to constantly confess who you are in Christ...who He is in you...take bible verses and make them into statements and speak them out loud constantly, make them into confessions...eg. "Jesus is my Lord", Jesus is lord over my family, he is the lord over my health, my finance, he is lord over my property, my country, my nations....eg. I have authority over the enemy....
13. Praying in tongues...Dr. John G. Lake said Praying in tongues is the key for making up his healing ministry. 3 keys to praying in tongues: 1. Pray loud, 2. Pray long, 3. Pray with intensity! When you pray about 1 to 1.5 hr in tongue each day, then you are about equip to handle what comes to you each day.... Build up your spiritual stamina, you can take a walk outside, 30 minutes praying in understanding one way, and coming back 30 minutes praying in tongues the other way.......praying in intensity as if your life depends on it...you have to be sensitive to the Spirit, yield to Him, sometime as if the Spirit breath into you, thenu just take offf......

Lake said, it is almost like a law of the human mind, it is easier to act myself into believing than to believe myself into acting...In other words, "Act on the Word of God.", "Do what you know." ...If you don't start to do what you have learned and known, then what you know ceased to be a blessing and start to become a curse to you...Joyce Meyer: "Higher level, bigger devil." The more you know, the more you're responsible to act upon, and the enemy is more like to work against you...the more you know, the more God is expecting you to protect yourself, rather than just relying on His grace to cover you all the time...This is the grow up thing...the more you know then the more you have to walk in, to maintain the same level of protection...even the believed protection like~ no weapon form against us shall prosper... It's predicate upon YOU DOING THE WORD OF GOD.
You can't make yourself more holy or righteouss because that is what God does for you...only by doing what you have learned and that begin a change in you, that God knows you are being obedient and He knows where your heart is...So that you are not deceiving yourself by being the hearer instead of the doer of the Word.
Smith Wigglesworth: "I may start in flesh, but I finish in the spirit." Sometimes, the Spirit is always miving, but sometimes He is not moving through us, but if we start movig, the Spirit will then start to flows.... It always begin with us doing what we know...

which is why blessed are they which are poor in spirit because people with the promise or without salvation when they hear the good news are given the opportunity to receive salvation eternal life and inherit the kingdom of God.
