I like the attack speed Suyou more. it gives more versatility in engaging and escapes.
Burst is fun too, but it requires him to be very careful in entrance timings.
Tank build is OP
That's why he has a fkn damage reduction in burst mode
You don't have to worry that much about entrace timing, I mean... sure you still have to time your entrace but you don't have to worry about taking damage
Something that i've noticed, Temporal Reign actually works with Suyou (using skill 3 will trigger the talent) unlike julian. Just something to point out

Julian skill CD are shared so that's why temporal reign didn't activate
But suyou skill are just a normal skill
that actually might be a bug. Since I'm pretty sure characters like Roger or Selena can't proc it either
I think attack speed suyou is better. He can also be a great split pusher because he has many escape skills to escape from the enemy.

Best first pick in history. Can fill both "Sustain Fighter", "DPS Fighter", "Pick-Off Fighter" and "Split Push Fighter" anytime and all you had to do is adjust the build.
Well both are good but we are in the assassin meta so there are more squishy heroes so the burst one will probably be used more

While both forms seem very different, i think the player is going to have to alternate between the two, in order to fully utilise the hero.
Depends on the enemy. Atk spd works against heroes like Fredrinn, Terizla, _maybe_ even Moskov but for those burst damage like Ling, Nolan, Fanny or those with annoying CCs like Zhuxin and Lylia , tanky sustain might be the way to go.

Suyou is good but i played a lot of times in advance server and now im mythic never seen anyone uses suyou maybe because he is very weak at CC especially that thamuz, terizla and phoveus is dominating the exp lane

Meanwhile Lapu: have to spin on at least 3 enemy heroes to gain the same stat
I think suyou will be the next infinite meta hero just like chou and gusion which is terrifying to imagine 💀

Why do I feel like his immortal form will be good for exp lane? I think semi tank build (similar to Terizla and Yu Zhong) will be great for him to use. Or is there something that I'm missing?
This is the main problem if all items are stat based. There are no other ways or mechanics to protect yourself or at least run away from an overfed opponent. An item that would render you invulnerable for 2 secs but can't move is not ideal in most situations. I hope the developers will soon include other items with active skills.
The difficulty reminds me a bit of li xin from HoK

Hororo, try Li Xin Domination form in HOK. That hero damage output is crazy a.f. Real glass cannon hero of HOK 🔥
Why not both? Attack speed suyou is way to fragile. He is basically a budget Argus (adv server). high attack speed, physical damage and crit rate suyou in armor form is op af. 70% crit rate, 660 phys attk and 2.2 attk speed. You can use his normal form for running away or chasing and armor form for attacking.
reminds me of Xi Yun from honor of kings where both forms had different builds and role
Well if you want to play like assassin use normal form, but if you're like fighter or tanky your teammates use 2nd form.
Imagine playing as a squishy mm with no flicker and this hero is the enemy hyper😭
I think this hero was deliberately created for a collaboration project with Naruto because his skills are very suitable to be a Sasuke skin.

It's still lacking a lot. I already tried with atk speed but enemy can easily stun and kill me. And his hold skills are easily cancelled by stuns and knockout. Eg.Eudora,Vex,Thamuz,Badang and Masha can cancel his skills when he is holding his skills
