I have very heavy and very deep clay soil. I go to the beach in winter as often as I can and get seaweed from high water after the storm and bag it . Also grass and leaves and my compost. It’s very hard work as access to my plot is difficult. But 4 years later it’s getting better, potatoes are doing well now . Slugs are huge big black ones with yellow undersides big problem.
