I think what you're missing even though the manga is miles ahead is the impact Law made against Black Beard and two of his stronger crewmates. You and I both know Law's crew is mid compared to not only Yonko crews but other pirate groups. The fact Law fought them off basically singlehandedly and made them look like they really went through some trouble to beat him makes you value Law's strength alot more. Bepo went sulong form but before that they looked like it took alot of effort by all 3 of them to beat Law. If we are saying that Black Beard is truly a Yonko, all we have to do is look at how strong Kaido and Big Mom was to understand how much it took to not only do a solid amount of damage against BB but to also damage his subordinates damn near solo is crazy. To compare it to Luffy, it would be like being strong enough to force Kaido to actually try while also fighting Whos's Who and X Drake enough to do a decent amount of damage with your only help being like Chopper (his forms don't matter because he doesn't do anything against the Supernovas or anything higher).

10:12 Most people still give Aokiji the benefit of the doubt like "oh maybe he's just undercover SWORD" and associate him being the "good" admiral but what if he just really just lost his way and surprisingly Akainu has maintained a very respectable sense of justice we have yet to discover thru backstory. It wouldn't be impossible considering Oda or too surprising but definitely an interesting twist.

I think what you're missing even though the manga is miles ahead is the impact Law made against Black Beard and two of his stronger crewmates. You and I both know Law's crew is mid compared to not only Yonko crews but other pirate groups. The fact Law fought them off basically singlehandedly and made them look like they really went through some trouble to beat him makes you value Law's strength alot more. Bepo went sulong form but before that they looked like it took alot of effort by all 3 of them to beat Law. If we are saying that Black Beard is truly a Yonko, all we have to do is look at how strong Kaido and Big Mom was to understand how much it took to not only do a solid amount of damage against BB but to also damage his subordinates damn near solo is crazy. To compare it to Luffy, it would be like being strong enough to force Kaido to actually try while also fighting Whos's Who and X Drake enough to do a decent amount of damage with your only help being like Chopper (his forms don't matter because he doesn't do anything against the Supernovas or anything higher).
No I’m not missing anything because the manga blatantly states that the crew even though individually they’re not great, they fight way better as a group with Law as an anchor. This is a testament to his crew as support, also Blackbeard’s strongest members weren’t there lol. Burgess is maybe 4?
