The boot is up . On my 2015 f250 the boot is up. It only fits one way. The non boot side has a bushing not allowing for it to be place on top. He is correct on his installation. For rear installation.
Are you 100%? I've heard boots go down for the rear shocks. Then I heard the lettering on label must be facing correctly. My lettering is only correct when the boot faces up. Help!

not sure about f250 but on the f150 they tell you to put the black boot facing down
