Gotta tell you man, I've played your list a bit today and it's so much fun, whether I win or lose. It's also funny when I can't otk but am able to establish a board of several interruptions thanks to my opponent's boss monsters.
Man I'm really glad I discovered this video. I've one-tricked Sky Strikers since the inception of Master Duel. I've played multiple versions of it which were mostly a control style. Though this looks a lot more fun though and I'm going to try it right away!
This is really sick, I love when people take different approaches to the game and it works. Never played Sky Striker in my life but tried this in WCQ 2nd Stage and was winning games. As long as there's not a meta with a lot of negates on the board, I def think this will be strong. Well done!
what a sky striker player, got a subscribe from me. I also really like how you don't show the opponents whole turn, just pure sky striker time. I imagine you go make a sandwich while your opponent is making all these plays so you cant play on your turn haha, and then you meticulously go through and break the board. love it!
There's a lot of good Sky Striker decklist out there, but this particular one got me to lvl MAX on WCS today. Thanks man, can't wait to see another Sky Striker video.
@@yes3293 there r like 5 snake eyes fire king replays in this video i think? Or was it 4 i cant remember. But the order that u use ur cards against them matters a lot so misplays might happen quite often
@@yes3293 its not strictly in any particular order but it depends on what ur opponents do and u react to them accordingly, this requires understanding of what deck ur opponent is piloting, so its pretty tough to have a clear line, what u need to pay attention to is that against fire king there r usually known interuptions like princess, kirin, linkuriboh, sky burn, amblowhale u need to keep track of, and the reason for me saying it has no order is that the opponent can trigger whatever he feels like that leads to the same result (for example destroying ur card with princess/kirin but they can do either of them first and then u would have to evaluate the situation and play ur cards accordingly). Not even to mention if they maxx c-ed ull have to think of the potential effect veiler and such, its an enormous amount of things to keep track off, thats why it makes this matchup fun imo, no clear line, just reactive
Im playing sky striker too. I like forbidden droplet too but i also added enemy controller for a cool new play with cynos. You can tribute cynos to avoid veiler and imperm and still be able to use its effect to special roze.
One of the main reasons I love sky striker. It’s a very unforgiving deck that goes both ways. You can’t just yes click and spam every interruption you have against it, but you also can’t misplay when playing the deck or else your performance plummets. It forces your opponent to actually use their brain if they wanna win, also allows you as the pilot to break pretty much any board in the game so long as you play it correctly. One of the only decks in the game that actually requires thinking from both players unfortunately.
i also reach master 1 with striker but sometimes i swap it to my Lab for counters because sometimes alot of people are online and i need another deck in matching them........
First game was absolutely beautiful 🔥 . Btw I aborted the adventurer idea, max c ruins every fun variation besides a single thrust does more than the entire engine 😢 oh well back to pure😂
Lmao yeah, maxx C is just so painful, it gate keeps a lot of builds not just for sky striker but for many other decks, unless ur deck specializes on OTKing then ull have an option to just go for it and ignore the C
That's definitely a wild list XD I'm currently a bit frustrated over the meta. Couldn't reach Master with Sky Strikers. I'm having so much trouble with Snake Eyes and Fire Kings. (also Tear/Horus to an extent) I have a grind game build but their recources seem endless... Even with a good hand and play I can't seem to win. Maybe I go for the board breaker list but hand traps feel more safe to me.
Wanted to try Sky Strikers for myself as a newer player. This seems very fun to play! Tho kinda sad to hear that most of the new support isn't helpful- I'll try to gather the materials for the list along with the one from another channel I saw. This is going to take a lot of practice but I wanna learn how to play it so bad-
@@frozenbyicebeam That's what I heard and saw, I've being mindlessly playing numeron so far for quick wins but playing something with more depth and that requires thinking is very appealing
I absolutely adore your strategy, really funny to watch and even to play, although it's really scary to play no handtraps, have you ever really suffered from it ? Love your videos
Hmm i think i play blind 2nd decks too much that it doesnt scare me to have nothing during their first turn anymore Just the mentality thing. Also having board breakers and trying to break the board or otk instead gives me adrenaline rush lol. I can still play going first decks and handtraps them correctly for sure but that style fits the live gameplay more than the replays which i cant do yet cuz of my low quality mics, surely u wouldnt wanna watch a replay in which i resolves maxx C lol, i wouldnt personally.
I'll try Autonomous Action Unit when I'm on a build where running Hidden Armory is useful(i.e. if Snatch Steal gets unbanned), Could be interesting in something like a Mikanko/Infernoble Pile right now though. I find Cyanos' GY effect to be pretty useful already, the Machine Lock from its Special Summon effect can be annoying, but I haven't found myself relying on S:P or Accesscode too often early in turns, and can usually get them out without it if I need to actually go into those things(using it as an emergency extender if those plays get interrupted). Setting up Azalea Temprance or Amblowhale backed by Eagle Booster usually works fine for grindier games and for going first when you can't get to Shizuku + Multirole though, would be nice to have a Link-3 or 4 Machine with some OFFENSIVE potential though(S.P.E.C.T.R.A. is just BARELY better than Orcustrion, enough so to make it actually worth running in Orcust but not in many other builds besides maybe Rescue-ACE where they can recoup banished spells on a dime).
You CAN still go for the grind game, but you'd probably have to run a "going first" build on hand traps or Thrust Trap targets to punish hand traps(stuff that lets you take advantage of getting stuck on Camellia/Temperance/Amblowhale), Eagle Booster for surviving through backrow wipes, and some combination of Pot of Avarice and Hercules Base to recoup all the one of monsters being played(or draw cards if you can make/steal a big bungus). Backrow decks are the only potential annoyance I've found in that regard since your main answers to backrow are stuff like S:P, H.A.M.P. crashing and REALLY slow board wipes(I refuse to play multiples of a HOPT card like LS that can't even do anything if you control a face-up, especially one that the opponent probably stuffed onto your field(even the Vaylantz fields stuff it), Evenly Matched also often feels terrible for similar reasons but at least can be spammed more easily). Accesscode is too easily stuffed by a Veiler, removal trap or sometimes even Nibiru for me to consider it reliable backrow coverage either. Engage Zero is Linkage support, if you don't run 3 Linkage you probably don't want to run it. The only time the board wipe probably matters is under Skill Drain, and you still need to pair it with Droplet to pull that off, which is not a great option for monster theft OTK for obvious reasons(you need things to have ATK so you can beat them to death with their own obnoxious boards).
@@josviz94 thats a weird timestamp consider the track started to play way earlier than that lol But its a pokemon remix from GlitchxCity I just dont remember which one it is, been a long time, it should be a route OST if that even narrows it down a bit
People are so petty now with scooping before final hit that I can't tell if players take the hit anymore because they are fine with it or if they just didn't realize they lost until that moment
dear frozen, (if possible) consider running an alt account to test different versions of the deck during the same season (or derank before reaching master 1) tyvm for your videos
Dear agh91, I do have many accs and this is actually an alt, but i use different accs to climb with different decks instead of just sticking with 1 Tysm for watching and commenting
Would you make a SS guide? Your videos and gameplay make me want to learn the deck. I am not a huge control deck fan but SS looked like it can do serious damage with a dedicated pilot.
Hmm its unlikely cuz my mic is really crap rn and youtube is just a hobby so i dont post many vids, hence no good mic yet. And also, sky striker with board breakers is a reactive deck, u dont follow stiff lines, u play depends on how opponents react to each of ur card as they go and the u make decisions accordingly. There r some tricks in the deck for sure but im quite certain any sky striker veterans should have at least a half decent guide for it already, not much to add :D
That first game was insane. Also love the FF7 soundtrack in the fourth replay. Your 100% focus on the board breakers makes me wonder, how would you play this deck in the TCG? (bo3 format) Would you go for 100% board breakers with handtraps on the side deck? Would you play full handtraps and a couple of Thrust targets + a few brakers on the side? Or perhaps a mix of both?
@@frozenbyicebeam I agree. I'm trying a mix between handtraps and boardbreakers in the main deck but I feel like when I open 1 handtrap (sometimes even two) it doesn't help enough and it evens triggers Talent if they have it, with almost no payout at all. So I'm considering going all in with the boardbreakers, though if I'm forced to go first... I'm cooked.
I don't play this deck but the super poly engine with verte anaconda looks decent because the deck wants to go second anyways and super poly prevents princess or any similar monsters form destroying your monsters ( thnx to the fusion monster made by super poly)
I didn't get the hype behind Sky Striker until the Link/Synchro event. I copied someone's build because I didn't have a synchro deck at the time, and I absolutely fell in love with the deck. My most treasured memory is beating an opponent without summoning a single monster. Just board wipe after board wipe, and then I stole their Chaos Angel and beat them to victory with that.
Sky striker's play style is definitely one of the most interesting out there, for ppl who dont play the deck, all they can think of is some "Raye is 13" meme and it never crosses their mind that the deck is simply interesting gameplay wise
Hmm i did complete stage 1 but wont be participating stage 2. Normally if i have time and i wanna test my deck, ill give it a go, but this months pretty occupied for me and also grinding stage 2 is quite pointless as i have no intention to compete for world (if thats even possible with all the veteran competitors? Lol)
Hey. You can take the new striker SR monster. You can spezial summon the roze from the deck/hand & in the graveyard you can activate too, for a new Roze spezial summon from the graveyard That's in 1 turn but you're locked in machine monster. The next positive is you can go in link 2 & nice game's. I'm in Dia 2 with striker but I have 13 Handtraps
I really dont like running cyanos cuz it plays poorly into maxx C which i have to deal with most of the time and if ur opponent knows how sky striker works and they have a way to flip ur roze and cyanos facedown, u prolly have to draw an out to clear the main monster zone for ur spell. It also feels bad if cyanos gets negated cuz it requires u discarding a spell. I personally dont think its a good card to use rn, yet
Fantastic build, I might have to try this out myself. What do you think about Enemy Controller as an option for this deck, either as a cheaper alternative to crafting Mind Control or used alongside it for extra stealing cards? It can steal monsters, isn't once per turn, and has the secondary benefit of being able to tribute Kagari so she dodges Imperm/Veiler.
Ah yes, i did try e-con, its definitely a usable cheap option and dodging imperm is nice indeed, but it is still a 2 for 1 after all and if it gets negated it feels really bad, and u have to have a monster on the field first so it limits the flexibility of the plays and force a specific order, mind con can force an interuption immediately and allows u to bait out negate sooner so u can resolve ur better cards is definitely nicer, a small example would be if u have raye and mind con in ur hand against a negate, its certainly better than raye and econ right? Good call on the budget part tho cuz mind con is not a staple in anyway and spending UR crafting hurts for ppl who dont use it often, not a bad alternative if ur low on CP
Great video! Im about to invest in a Sky Striker deck, and your version seems so alluring though it needs a lot of URs. I’m wondering what’s your experience with the “common” builds with handtraps and stuff. Which version do you find it’s better or more consistent?
I use the handtrap versions if the format is horrible for boardbreakers which its not rn and using breakers r more satisfying to me so if i could run them and climb then i would In this meta i really hate the fact that aside from maxx C the other handtraps u always have to draw 2 of them to have a chance st stopping the meta decks cuz they always play through 1 easily and some even plays through 2 which is a bit irritating for my taste. If ur new i absolutely suggest that u should use handtraps cuz they r mostly staples that u need to craft for other decks anyway, the breakers arent the same unfortunately. But for this account i only play sky striker on so theres no shortage of resources, i have all the handtraps and the boardbreakers at 3x each myself so i could try everything
did you see the snatch steal unban? i feel like it could really help the deck since its a better mind control, you can attack with those monsters being stolen
Yeah, im down to testing snatch steal for sure, however, theres 1 thing that makes it not strictly better than mind control, its an equip spell which means if opponent has anyway of removing it from the field, they'll get their monster back and there r a lot of those effects in the current meta so we'll have to see.
@@frozenbyicebeam i also hate how its an ur, i already spent all my ur's building sky striker, yubel and vaalmonica bruh. why is such a card a ur, mind control also has this issue. i understand change of heart but mind control, really?
@@eisregenhaha haha well, i think all the cards that used to have some time in the forbidden/limited list in the legacy formats, after being lifted in MD, usually come out as a UR, take yata garasu and scapegoat for example. Lets just say, I dont agree with what they did, but i can see why they did what they did.
@@frozenbyicebeamyeah i put heavy storm in it and replaced your mind controls with snatch steals. much better imo because i just attacked like everyone to death with their own monsters 😂 although everyone nust scoops once i enter battle phase with their monsters
I played the cyanos variant and I can say that this card is garbage. Except for the graveyard effect, he is pretty useless. Always get ash or imperm. The design of cyanos is for sure to play SS as a control deck. But SS control is very very hard and 1 mistake kill the game. It’s the same for Camelia being able to be summoned JUST once per turn. So her effect can’t be used as a board breaker. And I will not talk about engage 0 that lock you without linkage. Konami just piss me off…They print broken cards just for meta decks but nothing for rogue players …
If naturia is the most common deck on the ladder i would be running droplets and some imperms for it, but ever since calamity is banned, i dont see em in high ranks anymore, and aside from naturia beasts spell hates like anti-spell fragance, secret village and virus r also not that common either, u make the meta call and use the cards that r good against the most common deck u see to build ur deck and rn the meta decks dont run any of those, so i didnt feel the need to put in those aids for the diseases i see only once in 100 games maybe? And thanks for the sub! Enjoy ur stay :D
@@frozenbyicebeam ah I see! So you build decks for the meta, I’ve been trying to build mine for every available option, as I seem to play a lot of floodgates/stun decks! I guess it’s a scoop if you face a Naturia Beast then?😂
@@samuelconway8961 it depends cuz u do have kurikara to tribute over it so dont give up just yet, and yes i climb to M1 so obviously i have to build to play against meta, its just natur...al! Got em
Soo, even if you win the coin toss, you just and always choose to going socond? What if the opponent assumes you to play mikanko/numeron and refuse to summon any monster?
I dont think ppl r gonna do that cuz mikanko is not a common deck rn and there r some blind 2nd deck that will just flat out kill u if you dont have a board presence (even mikanko could still otk if on an empty board if they draw the hand they need). And standard sky striker deck does have a way of doing it with linkage, sure this build isnt particularly good for that but they dont know my deck, they can somewhat guess that im playing sky striker sure but in no world they would guess that i play 1 linkage.
Really like ur videos mate! But instead cutting ur opponents combo, just speed it up 2x 4x for analyzing their plan so we know how u break them. Thanks!
Hmm i actually did that in the past but the thing is i climb to M1 always so the amount of replays against meta decks r a lot and ppl normally had issues watching meta combos again and again in ranked already so they would prefer to not watch em again if they can help it, hence why i decided to cut the opponents turn for the blind 2nd videos
@@frozenbyicebeam its fine actually. I'm just wondering like how u decided to break the board when u know their distruption. Example 1st match vs tear idk cryme was added or it was in the hand, so how u decided what action to do that's what i need to know. Cuz i have not seen this kinda playstyle thats why i could not analyze their set up when u cut it.
Ah yes that makes sense if you wanna also do a mini quest of figuring out how to break it urself while watching which i think is super fun, unfortunately i gotta prioritize the majority haha. Next time just pretend that the mysterious set card is the worst thing that happened, for this instance even if they didnt search it, u might as well assumed that they hard drew it, if u can afford to play around it with the spared cards u have, u should do it!!! (In this case the spared card i spent was herald of the abyss)
Do you really need to have Camelia, because I never saw it in your replay. Are you also going to make another Sky Striker deck profile for the grind game, that has more of the new support?
I actually went into it a lot, but those replays arent really good so i didnt put those in the video, if ur opponent doesnt maxx C you, u always have an option to go for the grind game even with this build, unfortunately them having maxx C is like...most of the time and i really hate that. As for the grind game build, since i never play the same decklists each month, ull likely get one next month..maybe And that wont include any of the new supports aside from camellia most likely, becuz i cant lie, if i think a card is not good to use in the current meta i wont use it and i only use builds that i get to M1 with while also having fun and not having to struggle. Im sure u can push through M1 if you play enough games, even with cyanos but that would take a lot more time due to the fact that new support cards dont really have a place in the deck yet so u would have a really difficult time coping (its a shame really cuz cyanos is the type of card that would be highlighted in replays thanks to the amount of plays u make with the card compared to camellia which has a unique unseen advantage in summoning condition)
@@frozenbyicebeam yes i think I really get your point with the grind game, but it just happened that I pulled literally 5 of the new Monster that cannot be used as a link material (:Engage Zero!" I THINK it was), so I thought that I have to use it, since it is easy for sky striker to bait all their negates and then wiping the board would be pretty cool. Nevertheless the other Boss Monsters really seem specific and underwhelmimg, I really hope they can have their spotlight sometime but the exttadeck is just too tight for niche interactions (negate on chainlink 2 ir higher/ equip to your monster) Thank you for your fast upload and response, I wish you the best
@@kayne_vk ah lol Well in all seriousness i dont think engage zero is a bad card, its just that even if u bait all the interaction and wipe their board, u cant even link it away for shizuku so ull have to spend linkage as well...thats a lot of work, also with the meta deck that likes being destroyed....the raigeki effect wont turn out good for us lol But yeah as i said in the vid, these cards might be good one day, just not now or in the near future and ill wait for it And thanks for watching and commenting broski!
U just pick going 2nd? And in this meta, no top decks wanna go 2nd so opponent will pick going first and make u go 2nd anyway Remember MD is bo1, u have no reason to worry about it unlike in TCG where its bo3
if u feel like ur rng is kinda mid and dont wanna randomly lose all ur important spells then yeah lol, i usually rotate raigeki/droplet in and out for mind con to test em out and it feels like mind con fits better in this build, droplet and raigeki r definitely good however
All the Sky Striker support in recent years has been so f**king mid. Linkage, Camellia and Azalea are the best we got and they're just decent cards. Those stupid main deck 'Sage of' monsters and now these big links should've been new SPELLS. New ways to interact and manage resources. Maybe a bounce that evolves into a spin, or a reverse Widow Anchor that can steal a monster but only use its effects with the GY setup, or a busted field spell like Babel that can turn Engage and Afterburners into quick-effects, etc. We could even have some brand new gimmick with 'spell monsters' that can hop onto the MMZs like a Paleo or an Eldlich trap, but specifically not count against the activation of other spells. Just simply more ways to link and avoid lethal without the anti-synergy of clogging yourself and killing all your spells. That's what the Sage cards could've been. I don't understand why Konami is so intent on giving control decks focusing on backrow more and more monsters. It's so annoying. Anyways, great video. Even though I prefer the multiple turns grind, this OTK version is interesting and might be less of a pain to rank with. It really feels hopeless sometimes to grind vs the insane recursion of newer decks without Multirole working overtime.
Every time I think the rogue deck has reached the limit, you show me the new way to play during the meta. Wellplay as always. Currently, I'm climbing with Vaalmonica and oh boy, the deck is really fun, a zebufera + followed rthyme on field with field spell set up is deceptively hard to break. However, the deck bricks like no tomorrow, you need specifically at least the pendulum and lv4 to start your combo. I'm too frustrated that I have to do everything to set up my basic endboard when snake eye or fireking can just use 1 card and have tons of interactions. Konami plz...
Haha, vaalmonica is definitely one of those decks that brick more often than usual and its also quite irritating to play through just 1 imperm/veiler sometimes
@@frozenbyicebeam Sadly we can't craft this card X) We can only get her in the secret pack. The decklist at the end is the best version? Or do I need to add droplet for example?
U can craft kagari, just not the alt art, look for the regular art one :D And theres no best version, i just never play the same lists ever so theres always something different each month
@@frozenbyicebeam you can use it for otk this type of build you just got into all your link 1s and 1 link2 then use pot of avarice I tested it a lot n use it first turn pretty often when I draw it
Always hated facing Sky Strikers. they get a searchable change of heart that's both a quick play and a negate while having monsters that float into one another during battle phases. A real pain to face and I can't figure out how to counter them without floodgating spells (and I don't like being the kind of a** who turn 1 floodgates).
I dont get it, its not a meta deck and it can be beaten by any other half decent deck in the world if you understand how it works, and floating during battle phase is nothing compared to the top decks atm which floats whenever they like and not just BP
@@frozenbyicebeam It's because I don't understand it and because it floats that I never land the killing blow before their next turn when they start searching more spells to outlast me. I don't like playing meta because its not fun tryharding so I stay away from snake eyes and when it comes to other decks, i use rogue variants with my own spice instead of copying exactly what other people do.

Not even to mention if they maxx c-ed ull have to think of the potential effect veiler and such, its an enormous amount of things to keep track off, thats why it makes this matchup fun imo, no clear line, just reactive
Great replays. I like the way you Sky Striker.
The begining made me think I clicked the wrong video for a second.
I was looking forward to this, it's always a treat to watch you break boards with Striker 💙

i just downloaded the game jst to play sky striker and thank u bcs i really like this deck looks very fun !
i have never heard of kurikata divincarnate but i'm slapping it in every deck i've got rn that first game was crazy
This was fun to watch . U made me feel like a bum lol and I never seen such a build . Shit is beautiful
As a saladman great player transitioning into sky striker the link summon with their pyro for kill was chefs kiss
Dancing Sword of the Storm, for anybody else who was looking for the Another Eden OST
The chrono trigger theme really took me back.
i also reach master 1 with striker but sometimes i swap it to my Lab for counters because sometimes alot of people are online and i need another deck in matching them........
nah but like, you just convinced me to play striker, i was searching for a new go 2nd deck and you sold it to me like a professional salesman, gg
Haha hf man
Cool list. Never seen this otk approach before.
First game I bet the opponent never expect kurikara jumpscare. Thanks now I'm crafting one. And the game 2 was brutal otk using hes own monsters
this is gonna be my reason to mainly use sky striker
yo is that an Another Eden soundtrack? Banger!
YESSIR IT IS!!!
First game was absolutely beautiful 🔥 . Btw I aborted the adventurer idea, max c ruins every fun variation besides a single thrust does more than the entire engine 😢 oh well back to pure😂
Lmao yeah, maxx C is just so painful, it gate keeps a lot of builds not just for sky striker but for many other decks, unless ur deck specializes on OTKing then ull have an option to just go for it and ignore the C
looking forward to pulling from the striker pack myself! nice mind control build
Ohh, is this that Mind-Control Striker I've been hearing about. Gonna try it later
Lol not sure where did u hear it from but have fun!
That's definitely a wild list XD
I'm currently a bit frustrated over the meta.
Bro really said “thanks for the board” in the 2nd duel 😂
xD
1 linkage is wild and max monster stealing is wild, guess its time to craft my thrusts
It is a wild build after all 🫡
Enemy Controla might be a good option in this build
Wanted to try Sky Strikers for myself as a newer player. This seems very fun to play! Tho kinda sad to hear that most of the new support isn't helpful-
I'll try to gather the materials for the list along with the one from another channel I saw. This is going to take a lot of practice but I wanna learn how to play it so bad-
Haha hopefully ur gonna enjoy it, sky striker is one of the most fun deck to pilot imo
@@frozenbyicebeam That's what I heard and saw, I've being mindlessly playing numeron so far for quick wins but playing something with more depth and that requires thinking is very appealing
Welp, you’ve convinced me to now build sky strikers. Great vid btw~
Aye hf with the deck
I absolutely adore your strategy, really funny to watch and even to play, although it's really scary to play no handtraps, have you ever really suffered from it ?
Love your videos
Hmm i think i play blind 2nd decks too much that it doesnt scare me to have nothing during their first turn anymore
Just the mentality thing.
I thought I clicked on the wrong video with that intro 😂

Dear agh91, I do have many accs and this is actually an alt, but i use different accs to climb with different decks instead of just sticking with 1
Tysm for watching and commenting
(bo3 format)
Would you go for 100% board breakers with handtraps on the side deck? Would you play full handtraps and a couple of Thrust targets + a few brakers on the side? Or perhaps a mix of both?
I dont play TCG a lot but u definitely need handtraps in the side as u said, and stuffs lile dbarrier, threatening roar could also work
@@frozenbyicebeam I agree. I'm cooked.
Haha and funnily enough, unlike MD, theres tenpai dragon in tcg so the time ur forced to go first even in first game out of 3 is higher
Great vid man
I don't play this deck but the super poly engine with verte anaconda looks decent because the deck wants to go second anyways and super poly prevents princess or any similar monsters form destroying your monsters ( thnx to the fusion monster made by super poly)
@frozenbyicebeam it certainly is different than any other deck. Buy because of that your opponents may not know how to counter it.
I'd like to see how you did in qualifiers.
Lol)
nice music choices
Hey. You can take the new striker SR monster. You can spezial summon the roze from the deck/hand & in the graveyard you can activate too, for a new Roze spezial summon from the graveyard
That's in 1 turn but you're locked in machine monster. The next positive is you can go in link 2
& nice game's.
@@frozenbyicebeam Noted, thanks for the input.

good to see you back bro, been few years my boi frozen , how you doing? , love your videos as always mate!
Lol im doing great, hopefully the same happens to you
Great video! Im about to invest in a Sky Striker deck, and your version seems so alluring though it needs a lot of URs. I’m wondering what’s your experience with the “common” builds with handtraps and stuff. Which version do you find it’s better or more consistent?
I use the handtrap versions if the format is horrible for boardbreakers which its not rn and using breakers r more satisfying to me so if i could run them and climb then i would
In this meta i really hate the fact that aside from maxx C the other handtraps u always have to draw 2 of them to have a chance st stopping the meta decks cuz they always play through 1 easily and some even plays through 2 which is a bit irritating for my taste.
@@frozenbyicebeam that makes perfect sense, thanks a lot for elaborating 🙏! I’ll probably invest slowly and over time in the deck
did you see the snatch steal unban? i feel like it could really help the deck since its a better mind control, you can attack with those monsters being stolen

I played the cyanos variant and I can say that this card is garbage.
Except for the graveyard effect, he is pretty useless.
Always get ash or imperm.
The design of cyanos is for sure to play SS as a control deck. But SS control is very very hard and 1 mistake kill the game.
It’s the same for Camelia being able to be summoned JUST once per turn.
So her effect can’t be used as a board breaker. And I will not talk about engage 0 that lock you without linkage.
Konami just piss me off…They print broken cards just for meta decks but nothing for rogue players …

damn, what a nasty deck this is
Curious how you’d play vs Naturia variants or any spell hate with this deck? What’s your play? Amazing gameplay though, super fun! Earned a sub! :)

@@frozenbyicebeam that make sense. I forgot u play in master rank, literally the highest rank and nobody gonna play mikanko there.
They won't. I've been playing Strikers for months and 9 of 10 games they let me go second. It's no problem.
Sorry for being a noob, but what can you do with Mind Control if it can’t attack or do anything? I’m trying to see the purpose of running 3.
U use the stolen monster as link material
Do you really need to have Camelia, because I never saw it in your replay.
Are you also going to make another Sky Striker deck profile for the grind game, that has more of the new support?
I actually went into it a lot, but those replays arent really good so i didnt put those in the video, if ur opponent doesnt maxx C you, u always have an option to go for the grind game even with this build, unfortunately them having maxx C is like...most of the time and i really hate that.
As for the grind game build, since i never play the same decklists each month, ull likely get one next month..maybe
And that wont include any of the new supports aside from camellia most likely, becuz i cant lie, if i think a card is not good to use in the current meta i wont use it and i only use builds that i get to M1 with while also having fun and not having to struggle.
Nevertheless the other Boss Monsters really seem specific and underwhelmimg, I really hope they can have their spotlight sometime but the exttadeck is just too tight for niche interactions (negate on chainlink 2 ir higher/ equip to your monster)
Thank you for your fast upload and response, I wish you the best
@@kayne_vk ah lol
Well in all seriousness i dont think engage zero is a bad card, its just that even if u bait all the interaction and wipe their board, u cant even link it away for shizuku so ull have to spend linkage as well...thats a lot of work, also with the meta deck that likes being destroyed....the raigeki effect wont turn out good for us lol
But yeah as i said in the vid, these cards might be good one day, just not now or in the near future and ill wait for it
And thanks for watching and commenting broski!
Do you think you can put one bonfire and one poplar to search Kurikara?
Ah that would be too much bricks unfortunately and kurikara is definitely not that essential to a point where u have to search it whatever the cost
What do you do when you go first? Sky striker is Big brain deck to play and going first is not a good choice unless you can establish a decent field

Haha ur not the only one apparently
Looks like konami is doing quantity over quality on this one sadly
