I feel the pain as a Cosmo main especially when on a early floor you spot more than one person on 1 heart and no one listens when you ask to have the healing items.
Not a cosmo main but I've been using him to get cosmo mastery for sprout and what I find worked the best is to figure out who's distracting and prioritize healing them over anyone else. I did this and declined everyone else who was asking for heals except for the goob that was distracting and we made it together just us two cause everyone else died until like floor 13 lol

I used to have cosmo as my main too and I’d heal people then take any healing I can get or stay near the elevator so I don’t die or I’d stay at 1 heart but that was so painful luckily some people actually give healers meds/bands

im glisten main and i've seen that EVERYONE give me their machines, except Vee mains but yeah, there's no diff between their extract speed. But some Glistens does teleport when a Twisted chases 'em, then panic mode actives and they are in cd, 0 stamina, 2hp, about to get hit and doesn't get to elevator in time.
As a player who just recently played a match full of Poppies and Boxtens, I can confirm that more than half of them died on floor 1 (I managed to save one of them as Goob)

0:17 I’m not bad but I started with poppy with the help of my friend. Because my friend was helping me I got good really fast. Especially during machines because I was somewhat good at flee the facility. But this is true. I’d also like to add that they like always buy during Dandy runs
The reason for poppy players being like that is that she isn’t as useful late game as Boxten, so experienced players don’t play her. With Boxten he can actually be useful later. Poppy isn’t a bad toon, not really. She can still be useful just not as useful as the others, she can play solo unlike Boxten and her getting that speed boost when hit is really good it’s just that she’s not as good as others. She has better stats than Shrimpo and Razzle & Dazzle (on different floors) (this isn’t related but Razzle and Dazzle have the same stats as Poppy and Boxten in the menu so it’s a little over exaggerated on how slow they are, unless the menu is just straight up lying.) she’s faster than Rodger and some other characters aswell. I’m not saying she’s better than those characters I’m just saying she has more stats than them.

as a astro/vee main. i honestly either save my stamina give until people get in the elevator/or would just let the pebble do it because i extracted as a pebble when i first got them.
I have seen so many Boxtens just stand next to a machine and not extract it 🤦♂️ Also, I’ve seen multiple RazzleDazzles steal extractors when they’re on odd numbered floors (you know, when they have the lowest extraction speed in the game)
I know how to help u if it's a twisted when it sees you you will get an eye symbol next to your health also pay attention to the colors and try to remember what teammates you have if you have a vintage or just normals skinned teammates
My sisters and I recently played with a couple random people and at one point it was just us and Rodger, and we were CONVINCED this man had never touched a machine 😭 one of my sisters died so she just kept spectating him to see if he would ever extract and he didn’t 😭 he was just running around grabbing research leaving the extracting to the finn and vee… he eventually died from stepping out of the elevator for a second (maybe wanted some research at the end but failed to survive being seen) Also is it just me or have suddenly 80% of goob mains started going “I AM NOT A DISTRACTOR I WILL NEVER DISTRACT EVER” like seriously why are they playing Goob 😭
I literally found a pebble not distracting, also a goob, and a vee not extracting a ton, the point of goob, pebble, and vee are all being the role they were made for, but people do the opposite and completely ruin others fun, I honestly hate people in teams that do the opposite of what they normally do, I've also seen a tisha take twisteds from me multiple times while I was distracting as Goob, Long story short they left after we started arguing.
OH YES. I remember being in a team, there was a Goob and I’m not sure but I think there was a pebble. The pebble (?) asked if Goob was distracting, and the Goob was like ‘No wth’ 😭
So a thing I'm trying to do from now on is that if there's a Poppy or a Boxten in my run and its obvious they're a beginner, I'm trying to make sure they do at least one machine per floor so that way they can get a feel of how things work and build up confidence over time.
Fin ALWAYS asks me to give them machines i always decline but sometimes i mess up with the machines, one time VEE KILLED ME OFF AND LEADED A TWISTED WHEN I WAS ON 1 HEART AND I DIED BCZ OF THEM (they also do the same thing ws fin)

As a goob, that always gets hit during panic mode when i first started using him i can confirm. I usually sprint and take a little space between me ang the twisted, so when its panic mode i have enough time to react and sprint away.
I main toodles and I once saw player playing as toodles and being blamed for activating DnR but it was me trying to complete boxten mastery. But when I play as a toodles, most goobs try to kill me by stealing heals when they know I am on 1 hp or pull my into twisteds.

As a rare RND main it's true but on odd floors I mostly distract as i have some experience with goob, sniper, and mains and great with normal twisteds (also if u want to know how to distract sprout easily I have some tips for you just tell me in replys)

for astro it depends, at first i also didnt know when to use his ability but aft some time when i see slow toons getting chased, when their stam is slow I'll go near them and use it, then during panic mode, I'll stand a distance in front of the ele then when i see the last person(mainly distractors) i will run up to them and boost then hurry back into the ele, astros ability will also be useful when there's a distractor distracting multiple mains esp combos like vee with shelly or pebs
As a flutter main, i also get stuck in sticky situations where when im not distracting the twisteds they keep seeing me but when im distracting they always lose interest or los 😭😭😭😭😭
Im actually still a starter rn and i just started like 3 days ago. As a poppy player i once went into a run with a bunch of experienced looking players (i only said that because of their toons th) but everyone died on floor 7 and i only soloed until floor 15
there was this finn that wehn we tried to get the last machine (it was in an rnd circle) he would run in to make us lose hearts and keep activating rnd, the distractor we had (pebble) we kept asking to get the twisteds on finn but they werent evening reading chat which is normal but he saw what was happening but kept running around rnd until everyone died
As a Zesty gay mirror with girlboss energy and a massive ego (Glisten) main i like teleporting to the elavator at 1-2 seconds before its closes to scare them toons. I also exploit to spin and have seizures around the map
My experience because I like to yapp: Poppy: Usually die very early on and also almost never speak Boxten: Die later on but still pretty early and speak a bit more than Poppy Shrimpo: Die early on, but fun to protect. Most are nice and/or play around Toodles: Tend to be annoying. Get hit a lot but somehow don't die until 8+. Takes items without asking. Sometimes, piggyback off of the rest of the team while hiding at ele. Open most Rodger capsules and sometimes run in the RnD circle. Either don't talk or talk cringely. Finn: Usually the bane of my existence. Get hit a lot, but don't die. Takes items without asking. Never speak. Run in the RnD circle to kill you. Sometimes, take the twisteds off of you when you're distracting (literally just walk past like it's nothing) Tisha: There's usually like 3 of them. Almost always extract. Boost usually isn't too helpful but still appreciated. Almost never survive Pebble. Astro: Don't do much. Uses ability when you don't need it. Survive long. Usually pretty chill. Cosmo: Varies from doing their job well, being too kind, or never using their ability. Honestly it's a mystery what they doing during the round. They never die in front of me but die nonetheless. Rarely take heals unless they're pointed out. Flutter: Rarely distract. Stalls ability and gets hurt. Only dies by running into twisteds (or Rodger or RnD are activated) Brightney: Usually sweet. Survive surprisingly long. 50/50 if they even use their ability Rodger: Tend to be kind or don't talk. Live surprisingly long. Always last/close to last to elevator. Rarely see them throughout the round unless they're getting harassed by a Twisted. Teagan: Pretty chill. Not very chatty. Never see them during the round unless you're distracting/getting chased in which they accidentally take them off of you. Vee: Always use ability. Get too close to you when you're distracting, or you don't see them at all. Usually pretty chill. Rare to see. Pebble: 99% of the time they distract (unless there's another distractor around, in which they're usually chill in letting someone else distract). Good at distracting but gets hurt a lot anyway. Usually unable to distract Pebble. Glisten: Rare. Get hit a lot. Tend to leave early on for seemingly no reason. Scraps: Grapple to you, but not do an annoying degree. Run into Twisteds or get hurt at ele. Not that helpful but they try. Stall at the ele to a frustrating degree. RnD: Very rare. Some distract on odd floors. Tend to die on odd floors. Sprout: Usually pretty good. Sorta rare. Use Fancy Purse way too often. Very rare to see them die they just die. Usually leave early on if at all. Goob: Good at the game if they distract (probably extracting too). Incompetent if they're a griefer and/or jerk. Shelly: Rare. Sweet and simply play correctly. Always forgive or take blame if a distractor accidentally gets them hurt. Gigi: Usually get far. Pretty much always say when there's a bandage around. Usually talk but don't participate in conflict.
I am a Boxten main, but for whatever reason, I tend to do survive longer than other people in Dandy runs. I don't know how. And I do admit, I have a big fear of twisted goob/scraps. Everytime I see them on a floor I freak out XD
I see more Sprouts extract and use veemote for machines to get tapes, but when they finally get the tapes they need which they could easily do by DOING THEIR JOB which they don't do. Everyone is gone, they find themself alone, in an elevator stuck with the main character of Diddy's world
As someone who played Poppy, yes, I did take hits, but for some reason, once I dropped to one, I just... didn't get hit. Though that also happens when I play with other characters, too...
Little addition of information I forgot to say, I wasn't hiding at the elevator either, I was still filling up machines like someone playing the game, so...
as a tisha main (until i get flutter or goob or pebble), i get SO MAD when vees tell me to give them the machine... like no? find your own you thief... also, when i distract, people like to stand by and watch me distract, so i purposely bring the twisted to them
As a Cosmo and Tisha user I use Both for extracting ( surprisingly ) But I also use Tisha to make people faster ( I suck at distracting) And heal as Cosmo Cosmo and Wanda moment
i sometimes play as finn, i do end up only doing one machine sometimes, mainly because someone else gets to a machine before me, but the annoying thing about playing as finn is that new players follow you around the whole time and do nothing unless theres another machine next to you-
0:26 For the record, all of this is true except for the hiding bit. I personally try to avoid hiding as much as possible when I play Shrimpo, just for the challenge. However, what I cannot overstate enough is that Shrimpo NEEDS kiters on his team. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I have made it floor 32 as Shrimpo almost exclusively because the kiters I had were that good at positioning. This isn't to say Shrimpo is completely dysfunctional without kiters, hell, I even see myself surviving later than half of my team most of the time in runs without them. But to say that Shrimpo benefits from kiters more than any other toon is perhaps the understatement of the century. (For point of reference, I run Veemote and Vanity Mirror. I may do brick runs down the line but I'm far from prepared yet TvT)
Playing as shelbi is fun. Especially the speed boost they get. My friend, astro main, usually gives me stamina since I run out due to being chased in panic mode.

i think boxtens are pretty good actually, nearly every single one ive played with has lasted to at least f5 (and they help quite a lot in extracting) yes this does include new players, people without anything bought still do well (from a perspective of a boxten main (until i get flutter) that intentionally dies at f10 bc i get bored and my hands hurt from games that go on too long)
1:52 once I was playing with a goob, and that goob just ran around and grabbed me like 7 times the entire game even though I was right next to them every time and sometimes even pulled me towards them when getting chased 😭 And they knew I was a slow as hell character 😭😭😭 0:41 also, most of the time when I’m playing with tishas, they usually either extract or bring twisteds to people that are extracting. Poppys and boxtens to that too but mostly tishas
on my first run i got to 17th floor. Yes. With proof (as poppy) i had a pebble and some pros in my team and i just lesrned how to play after like 2nd floor
As a rodger main, I will always risk my life to get research, 4% arent enough so we need 10% more. Which is by ENCOUNTERING the twisted, so even if it’s pebble. I still risk my life for that 10% research. AKA i will get 14% research on each twisteds in that floor

Well boxten sucks later floors with Randoms bc of his passive. And everyone usually dies on the later floors unless your playing with other pros.

as a R&D main, I do extract in both odd and even numbered floors, since our role as a distractor is usually taken
as a astro/vee main. i honestly either save my stamina give until people get in the elevator/or would just let the pebble do it because i extracted as a pebble when i first got them.

As a toodle, I’m literally blind. I keep mixing up the players and twisteds together so I end up avoiding everyone to stay at full health.
I know how to help u if it's a twisted when it sees you you will get an eye symbol next to your health also pay attention to the colors and try to remember what teammates you have if you have a vintage or just normals skinned teammates

My sisters and I recently played with a couple random people and at one point it was just us and Rodger, and we were CONVINCED this man had never touched a machine 😭 one of my sisters died so she just kept spectating him to see if he would ever extract and he didn’t 😭 he was just running around grabbing research leaving the extracting to the finn and vee… he eventually died from stepping out of the elevator for a second (maybe wanted some research at the end but failed to survive being seen)
Also is it just me or have suddenly 80% of goob mains started going “I AM NOT A DISTRACTOR I WILL NEVER DISTRACT EVER” like seriously why are they playing Goob 😭
I literally found a pebble not distracting, also a goob, and a vee not extracting a ton, the point of goob, pebble, and vee are all being the role they were made for, but people do the opposite and completely ruin others fun, I honestly hate people in teams that do the opposite of what they normally do, I've also seen a tisha take twisteds from me multiple times while I was distracting as Goob, Long story short they left after we started arguing.

So a thing I'm trying to do from now on is that if there's a Poppy or a Boxten in my run and its obvious they're a beginner, I'm trying to make sure they do at least one machine per floor so that way they can get a feel of how things work and build up confidence over time.
Fin ALWAYS asks me to give them machines i always decline but sometimes i mess up with the machines, one time VEE KILLED ME OFF AND LEADED A TWISTED WHEN I WAS ON 1 HEART AND I DIED BCZ OF THEM (they also do the same thing ws fin)
.. A shrimp lived more than everyone but 2 toons. A BOXTEN AND BRIGHTNEY THEY LIVED LONGER THAN DISTRACTORS AND MAINS. THEY EXTRACTED THE MOST. IT WAS WHEN I WAS TISHA. THEY ONLY DIED THE FLOOR WITH SHELLY AND PEBB THE FLOOR EVERYONE DIED ON 😭

I usually sprint and take a little space between me ang the twisted, so when its panic mode i have enough time to react and sprint away.

I main toodles and I once saw player playing as toodles and being blamed for activating DnR but it was me trying to complete boxten mastery. But when I play as a toodles, most goobs try to kill me by stealing heals when they know I am on 1 hp or pull my into twisteds.

As a rare RND main it's true but on odd floors I mostly distract as i have some experience with goob, sniper, and mains and great with normal twisteds (also if u want to know how to distract sprout easily I have some tips for you just tell me in replys)

so i do more matchines than one
idk but i usually fit the type on blackouts
dont forget tishas constant heal hoarding
for astro it depends, at first i also didnt know when to use his ability but aft some time when i see slow toons getting chased, when their stam is slow I'll go near them and use it, then during panic mode, I'll stand a distance in front of the ele then when i see the last person(mainly distractors) i will run up to them and boost then hurry back into the ele, astros ability will also be useful when there's a distractor distracting multiple mains esp combos like vee with shelly or pebs

Im actually still a starter rn and i just started like 3 days ago. As a poppy player i once went into a run with a bunch of experienced looking players (i only said that because of their toons th) but everyone died on floor 7 and i only soloed until floor 15

there was this finn that wehn we tried to get the last machine (it was in an rnd circle) he would run in to make us lose hearts and keep activating rnd, the distractor we had (pebble) we kept asking to get the twisteds on finn but they werent evening reading chat which is normal but he saw what was happening but kept running around rnd until everyone died
As a Zesty gay mirror with girlboss energy and a massive ego (Glisten) main i like teleporting to the elavator at 1-2 seconds before its closes to scare them toons. I also exploit to spin and have seizures around the map

My experience because I like to yapp:
Poppy:
Usually die very early on and also almost never speak
Boxten:
Die later on but still pretty early and speak a bit more than Poppy
Shrimpo:
Die early on, but fun to protect. Most are nice and/or play around
Toodles:
Tend to be annoying. Get hit a lot but somehow don't die until 8+. Takes items without asking. Sometimes, piggyback off of the rest of the team while hiding at ele. Open most Rodger capsules and sometimes run in the RnD circle. Either don't talk or talk cringely.
Finn:
Usually the bane of my existence. Get hit a lot, but don't die. Takes items without asking. Never speak. Run in the RnD circle to kill you. Sometimes, take the twisteds off of you when you're distracting (literally just walk past like it's nothing)
Tisha:
There's usually like 3 of them. Almost always extract. Boost usually isn't too helpful but still appreciated. Almost never survive Pebble.
Astro:
Don't do much. Uses ability when you don't need it. Survive long. Usually pretty chill.
Cosmo:
Varies from doing their job well, being too kind, or never using their ability. Honestly it's a mystery what they doing during the round. They never die in front of me but die nonetheless. Rarely take heals unless they're pointed out.
Flutter:
Rarely distract. Stalls ability and gets hurt. Only dies by running into twisteds (or Rodger or RnD are activated)
Brightney:
Usually sweet. Survive surprisingly long. 50/50 if they even use their ability
Rodger:
Tend to be kind or don't talk. Live surprisingly long. Always last/close to last to elevator. Rarely see them throughout the round unless they're getting harassed by a Twisted.
Teagan:
Pretty chill. Not very chatty. Never see them during the round unless you're distracting/getting chased in which they accidentally take them off of you.
Vee:
Always use ability. Get too close to you when you're distracting, or you don't see them at all. Usually pretty chill. Rare to see.
Pebble:
99% of the time they distract (unless there's another distractor around, in which they're usually chill in letting someone else distract). Good at distracting but gets hurt a lot anyway. Usually unable to distract Pebble.
Glisten:
Rare. Get hit a lot. Tend to leave early on for seemingly no reason.
Scraps:
Grapple to you, but not do an annoying degree. Run into Twisteds or get hurt at ele. Not that helpful but they try. Stall at the ele to a frustrating degree.
RnD:
Very rare. Some distract on odd floors. Tend to die on odd floors.
Sprout:
Usually pretty good. Sorta rare. Use Fancy Purse way too often. Very rare to see them die they just die. Usually leave early on if at all.
Goob:
Good at the game if they distract (probably extracting too). Incompetent if they're a griefer and/or jerk.
Shelly:
Rare. Sweet and simply play correctly. Always forgive or take blame if a distractor accidentally gets them hurt.
Gigi:
Usually get far. Pretty much always say when there's a bandage around. Usually talk but don't participate in conflict.
1:44 RnD (Razzle and Dazzle) is pretty accurate, I play as RnD and that is basically what I do, except I distract on odd floors.
As someone who is using Rodger to grind on research, I do agree lol. But I use trinkets to the point I seem to have 3 star movement speed maybe 4? Idk
I am a Boxten main, but for whatever reason, I tend to do survive longer than other people in Dandy runs. I don't know how. And I do admit, I have a big fear of twisted goob/scraps. Everytime I see them on a floor I freak out XD
I see more Sprouts extract and use veemote for machines to get tapes, but when they finally get the tapes they need which they could easily do by DOING THEIR JOB which they don't do. Everyone is gone, they find themself alone, in an elevator stuck with the main character of Diddy's world

As someone who played Poppy, yes, I did take hits, but for some reason, once I dropped to one, I just... didn't get hit. Though that also happens when I play with other characters, too...
Little addition of information I forgot to say, I wasn't hiding at the elevator either, I was still filling up machines like someone playing the game, so...
as a tisha main (until i get flutter or goob or pebble), i get SO MAD when vees tell me to give them the machine... like no? find your own you thief... also, when i distract, people like to stand by and watch me distract, so i purposely bring the twisted to them

i sometimes play as finn, i do end up only doing one machine sometimes, mainly because someone else gets to a machine before me, but the annoying thing about playing as finn is that new players follow you around the whole time and do nothing unless theres another machine next to you-

For the record, all of this is true except for the hiding bit. I personally try to avoid hiding as much as possible when I play Shrimpo, just for the challenge. However, what I cannot overstate enough is that Shrimpo NEEDS kiters on his team. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I have made it floor 32 as Shrimpo almost exclusively because the kiters I had were that good at positioning. This isn't to say Shrimpo is completely dysfunctional without kiters, hell, I even see myself surviving later than half of my team most of the time in runs without them. But to say that Shrimpo benefits from kiters more than any other toon is perhaps the understatement of the century.
(For point of reference, I run Veemote and Vanity Mirror. I may do brick runs down the line but I'm far from prepared yet TvT)
As a Poppy, I always die on the 1st or 2nf floor lol
Playing as shelbi is fun. Especially the speed boost they get. My friend, astro main, usually gives me stamina since I run out due to being chased in panic mode.

For some reason... I survive longer as Toodles but with only one toon alive.
i think boxtens are pretty good actually, nearly every single one ive played with has lasted to at least f5 (and they help quite a lot in extracting)
yes this does include new players, people without anything bought still do well
(from a perspective of a boxten main (until i get flutter) that intentionally dies at f10 bc i get bored and my hands hurt from games that go on too long)
1:52 once I was playing with a goob, and that goob just ran around and grabbed me like 7 times the entire game even though I was right next to them every time and sometimes even pulled me towards them when getting chased 😭

As a rodger main, I will always risk my life to get research, 4% arent enough so we need 10% more. Which is by ENCOUNTERING the twisted, so even if it’s pebble. I still risk my life for that 10% research.
AKA i will get 14% research on each twisteds in that floor
