- It's official, Cardiff City have been relegated from the Premier League to the Championship after losing 3-2 at home to Crystal Palace.

I have to admit, I feel sorry for Cardiff being relegated. They have had so many decisions against them this season and have had to go through a really tough and emotional season. It's a real shame.

If VAR was being used this season then they would probably have had a much better chance of staying up
Everyone thought Cardiff would be easily relegated and be like Huddersfield, all the bad luck from this season of refereeing decisions, injuries and what happened to Sala, Cardiff should be proud of how they performed and how close they got to staying up, hope they come back next year, with Warnock still there

@@redacted2554 Sala was the third highest goal scorer in the French League - Higher then Neymar at the time, bare in mind Neymar cost PSG $500 Million. Who know he may banged in 5 or more goal that would have made a difference for Cardiff City's Survival in the Premiership.

The game against Chelsea was the game changer, Cardiff were ahead at the 81 Minute till Chelsea scored an equalizer - the goal scorer was clearly on an off side position , this would have been spotted by VAR, but it was not in place that season. The City players were shocked by that and the Chelsea players "tails were up" and they score the winner on the 90 minute.
The additional points that Chelsea had an effect on other teams in the Premiership. with those 3 points Chelsea finished above Arsenal at 4th place. Both there team played in the Europa League final to which Chelsea won. Had it been the case that that Chelsea lost to Cardiff City - England would have had 5 teams in the Champions League not 4.

I remember last day of the season both relegation and celebration for staying up for my own team. The Sala situation was sad but always going to be difficult for teams coming up which is why Eddie Howe should get more credit as he has been amazing.

True! Cardiff were the opposite of Liverpool who seem to have all the luck when it comes to decisions. If the poem had var, Liverpool would NOT be top! We got screwed over with that offside goal at the London Stadium, with Var West Ham prob be in Europa league the amount of decisions gone against us

Shezza's Video's perfect example was v Newcastle. TAA should of got red and penalty awarded, plus the Fabinho dive that led to the winner...disgusting! Liverpool getting too many of these lucky decisions that help them win games.

I’m fifa this team was in 20th place on my career mode so i signed for the team and I saved them and brought them to 9th place and the next season we won the quadruple and made it to the champions league
