Not mad at him, he was focusing on his studies which are obviously more important than FEH, but it did take a while so maybe not the fastest...
@haroohusky did, but his video was not as well put together and did not take the time to break apart the different tiers for different reasons. PM1 went indepth, Zeshado did not go as in depth.
That said, Zeshado is great and needs to not worry about competing with how fast PM1 is and focus on being thorough.
Definitely getting that staff for Baby Lucius. I'll hopefully get another one for the adult version too
I said this before but essentially this is IS saying we're not giving 3-4 stars refines but here's an arcane staff instead.
The only one I have to give it too is Veronica. Cornelia, Loki, and Czmilla don't need it apparently.
I mean Cornelia did outshine Young Lucius like a week after he was introduced, and B!Camilla is a CYL3 winner who is still relevant to use because of her refine. Though Loki I'm not sure about since I barely use her much and the only times I do is for AR seasons from time to time.
Loki's weap is not that good only in AR or Summoners Duels
Yeah, I'm surprised Loki isn't on the list since her weapon is only good for like two game modes

I'm actually not opposed to this. If they want to keep pushing new skills or refines, they can't do everyone one by one. There's no way they will ever keep up given rate of new releases vs rate of refine batches. Especially since they also have to give refines to 5\* units who still need it. Arcanes are a good middle ground of keeping all old gens up to date without spending too much time trying to balance all the prfless Gen1-7 Staff units.
@@DivineChaosLord"Up to date" is subjective here because they'll still be relying on a busted modern support effect to even do a semblance of their playstyle, let alone exist entirely. This bandaid weapon won't let the likes of Azama be magically "useable" outside of memes/favoritism, and even then there's simply limits to what fully investing on old, obsolete junk can do.
This has to be one of the best timings since we just got Resplendent Brave Veronica not long ago and now we got an arcane weapon that works great for her. Seeing her being one of the best users for Arcane Charmer just made my day, so thank you for the upload pm1.
Our first arcane staff and it feels so good to have since I now have a reason to use Brave Veronica again. Thank you so much for the builds.

My maxed out Serra will be enjoying the staff and the special. Helps that I actually like Hortensia so I'm inclined to pull for skill duping as well
My +10 Summer L'arachel is eating although I would like to give it to Valentine's Silque as well

I'm just happy we finally got the arcane staff people have been wanting for so long, I really can't wait to give it to my Saul. Too bad it's not enough to help units who desperately need it like Azama for example.
I'm definitely giving this to my Linhardt. He will benefit a lot from the special cooldown and guaranteed follow-up from the weapon.
I sure hope the special is also inheritable, cause I might have to only get the weapon for my favorite.

It wasn’t until I +10 Summer duo Hilda that I finally fully enjoyed fully decking out a healer with expensive skills, I might want hortensia for that staff side grade tho I think attuned ivy is more important to me for her deadly miasma and attuned skill

The arcane stuff having stat buffs when refined was a pleasant surprise, seeing all 8 options for just 1 weapon was pretty crazy

Does the heal effect on the staff apply to the user as well? I've been using a maxed-out Serra with Close Counter to carry grinding runs through Tempest Trials, but she needs either her native Absorb+ staff or the Staff of Tribute+ I gave her to self-heal and avoid being chipped down. I want to give her this Arcane upgrade, but I'm trying to figure out how to get some regen on her without sacrificing Wrazzle Dazzle or her ability to counter melee attackers. There's always giving her SS Mystic Seal, but that thing is always getting shuffled around...
Looking forward to building Natasha and Scion Nanna once i finally pull some Hortensia

I pulled Hortensia on pull 36 and then sparked for her, so both my Elise and my Forrest get a new glow up. The staff is not only powerful, but really fits them as well! Also I pulled 2 Ivys along the way, so good fodder on top. Quite happy with the banner!
I can't believe that I'm even considering this but I might have to wait to see if there will be a better arcane staff before slotting the current one into my Forrest. I want to because I have him at 10+ merges and I really need something killer on him, but if he's only tier two with this staff, it might be better to hold off for now.
So not surprise by OG Nanna's placement, but the aesthetic artist in me finds Arcane Charmer such a fitting name for someone like Nanna who is a very charismatic girl, so I must. lol I also forgot that I want ANOTHER copy for Lachesis, so now I have 4 units. Oh god. Well, OG Nanna and Lachesis will get first dibs since I like Twelve Staff on Scion Nanna aesthetically and Lena is lower priority.

I don't know about you, but I feel like you are underrating the armours a bit. And I may be saying this because V!Lissa is my absolute favourite unit in all of Fire Emblem, but being attacked and then basically guarenteeing what could be considered a Luna Strike while also potentially disabling foes ability to counter attack while protecting allies with a Far Save ability has been extremely useful to me thus far, especially in my armour emblem team where I have a bold fighter brave bow user who cannot take hits nearly well and a Near Save unit so I do not have to worry about melee units hurting them both. It also helps to have a consistant form of healing available to all units via Arcane Charmer's ability to heal allies after their combats or just a healing assist in general to help push my armours back into any fighter range they are in need of.
I do only wish to use Canny Fighter on her because I wasn't ever lucky enough to summon Myrrh yet in her banner (though even if I did I would probably not fodder her off since I like Myrrh) but the damage output coming from Poetic Justice actually makes her easily murder on enemy phase at times when she gets to fire off Glitter of Light TWICE in the same combat (essentially a double Luna here while also supporting allies in preventing enemy counterattacks).
Of course, as Mr. Pheonixmaster always says, it is always worth it to give it to the units you like first so I have no regrets with giving it to V!Lissa. All I need now is a good defensive A skill and I will be set (cause I would like more than a stat bonus from Fortress Def/Res 3, even if Staff units cannot hold stance skills. Hopefully we can get a Staff exclusive A that helps with overall survival in the near future...?)
I didn't realize how high young Lucius's atk/res were until this past limited battles. Tempted to build up now with this weapon
What sort of build would you recommend for bride Lyn? I am a big fan and collector of Lyns and have been waiting for an arcane staff to finally update her kit....but now that I look at it, her stats aren't really great for a speed or res build. So I am kind of puzzled on what to actually give her. Any Ideas?

Definetetly going with Ethlyn for my first copy, combined with her soireè version being rerun in the next HoF revival, it'll be nice to finally update the versions of one of my favourite characters that have unfortunately been collecting dust for a coupe years.
Also kinda wanna grab an extra Hortensia as insurance for if Pandreo ends up as a crappy staff demote... really hope his good CYL placement will get him at least a demote prf ala Lex/Orochi/Seteth/etc. if not a premium slot, but i'm not counting on it.

If I wanted to give the arcane staff to Brady, what kind of stat boon(s) would he favor? My initial thought was speed but the staff has a guaranteed follow-up...

Man, while I am happy for the Arcane Staff being finally released, it still makes my eyes roll how we didn't any demoted staff refines. It's as if they seem scared of making them broken (as if the game isn't broken with units like W!Edelgard, Duo!Sanaki, DuoW!Byleth, etc). I really like this staff, it's quite offensive and supportive and it can go on many staff units.
I got a +10 Mercedes, Linhardt and Dwyer (soon) who would appreciate this staff. I kinda hope for gacha god to at least give me 2 staffs in this summoning. Thank you for the video!

I finally decided to+10 Priscilla. Her speed is not very high so I guess ploy + still water is better then atk/spd catch + odd recobery?

We're missing arcane beast weapons for infantry, fliers. Armours might not get that as they're on the same spot as colorless mages or worse.

Don't forget we are still missing Beast Infantry and Beast Tanks, because unfortunately they also stand differently. But it's kinda sad how little of use Arcane weapons are. This is one is cool to actualyl build your Healer because there is not many options otherwise, but hm. Complicated.

Finally staffs get some crumbs to help them. I feel like they cpuld jave gone further with this - considering the amount of other skills that Staffs dont get access to that everyone else does (Smokes, Blows, etc).
