Depending on the Genre of Music you want to create, if you wanna go for that old school style sometimes not quantizing drums will give it a more natural feel. just experiment with it
It also depends how well you play. If you're super out or just not grooving right then you need tweak. I sometimes deliberately move drums off the grid using the midi even if I played them in just to get the groove I want.
It really depends on the genre and what you are recording. Alternatively, you could quantize but then add the "natural feel" back in by changing the expression.
