@@rheapunzel3 true true😤 I enjoy this version more though, cause they expand on the characters more while the Donghua just treated the other main characters as side characters :/ they didn’t expand more on the Wens’ and their life in Yiling, they didn’t show more of JGY’s madness, they didn’t even give JC a shot at redemption like it should have been in the book. Even the Yi City arc was so short😩 The donghua’s episode were only 20 something minutes per episode, while the Untamed was close to an hour. Around 40-45 minutes long each ep. Granted, animation takes a lot of money to make and I’m guessing the budget wasn’t that much to make for a longer season/episodes.
