In early canon she was killed by clones, according to Disney canon she was imprisoned before the Palpatine took over and, considering she didn't join the Inquisitors, highly likely she was executed in prison after the Order 66 was issued.

He was not reported so it is very much likely that he was simply written off and considered dead, which brings us to reasons. 1 - he had no means of receiving order 66 2 - even if somehow he did receive it being a farmer, there were no jedi near him, so he could not execute order even he wanted to

I think what he meant when he said that Season 5 is Legends is that it is part of both the canon and Legends continuity, just like the movies are also part of both the Legends and canon continuity. It is not canon that Barriss was released from prison and rejoined the Jedi Order, but she did do so in the Legends continuity. Does that help?

2008 clone wars series doesn't with legdens at all it conflicts too much. For example in legdens anakin was padawan for 2 years in the clone wars. In cannon anakin became a jedi knight after the battle of geonosis
If I was Aayla Secura I would've just pulled out my lazer sword and killed those clones. Ki Adi Mundi pulled out his lazer sword right as the clones shot at him and killed 3 of them.
