This is Musique Plus. The entire channel is in Québécois French, the audience is 98% francophone. And obviously, most international bands don’t speak french. So they have to translate right after 😊
1996? They only had 2 singles released at that point and none of them were Barbie girl. This must be 1998 or 1997. Barbie girl wasn't even finished before the beginning of 1997.
