Hello! Loved the video, did not know about the Tokyo Goverment Building! When you refer to $10 a day, which currency is this in please ? I am from NZ so the currency exchange can be pricy!
Thank you! ☺️ haha yes currency is always a bit complicated, also for us. We pay normally in euros. But we did American dollars because that’s what most people use! So that’s around 16 NZ dollar? Not a lot, right? Tokyo is really not that expensive if you do some research 😄

would you consider adding thrifting stores in japan for budget travelers? I've seen plenty of thrift shops in japan that sells alot of brand new preloved items from pokemon to cute outfits for much cheaper price but not many talked about them unless you're a JP vlogger or youtuber
Yes, that is true, we are not anime experts, so can't give our expert opinion, but according to our experience, whatever you buy in Japan is top quality
I have to laugh for the most part when people do a budget video on Tokyo and then spend over $$50.00 US per night on a hotel [ that is not a budget video at ALL ) Excellent all around
When you were sitting down and saying “good sushi, cheap stuff is nice” I was sure that would be a transition to a Honey sponsorship. I think TH-camrs like Adam Ragusea has done things to my head lol
Japan is the country known for its cuisine. It's a terrible shame to go there and have all of your meals at convenience stores. I suggest switching things up by going to family restaurant chains. That's a Japan experience in itself. Have 1 meal a day at a restaurant. Ramen can be cheap. Budget $20 per day
This was just one day on our 3 week Japan trip. We visited enough delicious restaurants 😍 but yes, we can’t afford to eat out every meal every day. And I think with us, many people who visit Japan can’t afford this. So yeah I want to tell them all it’s fine to eat from the convenience store, because it’s delicious!! 😍
Ah, you're vegetarians. No wonder your sushi meal was inexpensive. If y'all ordered the tuna nigiri or salmon, and unagi, you're bill would triple. You're sushi was probably the cucumber roll, the daikon roll, sweet egg, and maybe some avocado roll, am I right?
We actually ate fish! I think we eat vegetarian 99% of the time, but Japan was the first country we ate fish. They don’t have many vegetarian sushi options unfortunately..
