Onestly, I can't. He has not.
But I can figure him telling 'em "Guys I've been writing songs for us for the past ten days", and some of those being great ones.

How about that recent radio interview where John explains “What Flea’s bass playing does to my guitar playing, like... it’s what makes me wanna play guitar, I don’t really have too much of an interest were it not for (him)” and when their guitars interact it is “... endlessly fun to listen to”. So Flea is the linchpin, he’s the reason John came back and he’s what keeps the band alive.

It's neat of Frusciante to dress so normally to juxtapose whatever Flea does.
Wish they would make an album recorded in fleas garage. Have that intimate setting and inspiration again after all the years in studios. I think it'd sound rather amazing.

Flea knows when to play a flurry of notes and when to be sparse and give the notes space. Not as easy as it sounds.
I believe “The Empyrean” to be the most transcendent and enlightened body of work I’ve ever heard. I love John Frusciante. I can’t imagine how the people who know him feel about him.

Try find another guitar player born after 1970 better than John Frusciante. The man doesn't play with his fingers or his mind, he let's loose, tunes in, and connects with something much bigger than himself. The guy is communicating directly with the intelligence that generates all that is creative. He is just as creative writing code for a drum machine as he his with his 6 strings. His soul is in charge when he plays.
That's not a solo. That's a whole conversation right there

John is everything and it just isn't the same without him. He is so incredible. He is so talented. I love the artist he is. Being an artist (painter) myself I am working on a series of John Frusciante painting and drawings. I just listen to him and he makes me want to create.
That was so intimate that it's almost insane that we can witness it.

And I can hardly believe it, I CRIED because this is just THE absolutely perfect jam ever- both of them are absolutely incredible solo artists on their instruments and gifted musicians, but together they are unearthly, a total symbiosis, they are the Music itself- it went through and through like a sound wave of an uplifting frequency...
After a long time I felt the urge to grab my bass again and enjoying it like I used to when I worked on to learn to play my favorite bass lines.
To learn that Flea procrastinated up to 10 hours straight every single day blowed my mind and both inspired me and many times kept me going on and on instead of throwing the towel out of pain and frustration 💪
And that my friends is what you call SYNERGY 🔴🔥🌶

My best friend took his life and one of my fondest memories is a high school talent show where we took third for our jam: me on guitar, Adam on bass guitar. He was the drummer in our band but we did this jam all the time. I still miss him. I’m thankful for what little time I had. Thinking of you, bro.
