We have a New Moon in Cancer and this is all about exploring our emotions and our ability to be nurturing. Specifically, with this New Moon in Cancer, we want to be able to nurture ourselves and others, but we also want to be able to let get over the past and not cling to it, like the crab claw, in an obsessive and possessive manner.
Although the past may allow us to falsely feel a sense of security because it is what we know, we are being asked to learn how to tap into the Source of all things as our sense of safety. If during this time we begin to feel insecure, it’s important for us to tap into our nurturing instinct for sustenance and comfort. If you’re feeling overwhelmed during this New Moon in Cancer, simply withdrawal a little bit from social media, and even from social gatherings, in order to fully process the powerful emotions that may me swirling around you at this time.
