Remember, Jonathan Hickman already made clear that Reid is completely capable of handling Doom in any universe. If he revisited his run with the Fantastic Four, the Doom from this universe is somewhere with an inhibitor collar on and not destroyed. Not even lobotomized. The Makers hubris far outweighs 616 Reid and not completely getting rid of Doom will be his downfall… remember, “all hope lies in Doom”.
Question. If the Maker has eliminated or neutered the superhumans most likely to oppose him, e.g. the Avengers, then where are these future avengers who keep attacking him coming from?
It has been stated that in Marvel Comics, from an outside observer, at the moment of creation of a reality, that reality is complete from start to finish. From beginning to end. Richards has literally jumped into the middle of a story and started messing with the plot. Those in the future part of the timeline that existed before Richards began his changes have realized this and are going back into time to try to stop him.
@@WilliamAGould so you're saying that from the viewpoint of an outside observer such as the Maker, the past, present, and future versions of the heroes all exist simultaneously. And even if the Maker has offed the past heroes, their future selves still exist and can strike back. Could be. That sounds Hickmanesque. Mind you, the guy who wrote the comment below ours has a really good idea, too.
@@yorickbenson You know, that's a good idea. It occurs to me that two even more likely suspects are Dr Doom or the Kang of this reality, because both of them have time machines.
@@malicyoung9293 Yes. From an outside observer, once a reality exists, it exists fully not just in space, but in time. The hinted reboot was likely only a small one solely dealing with what Richards personally interacted with himself. So, the theory still stands.
As branded as Dr. Doom has become, he has always and forever out, classed by Reed Richards, in any configuration, in any alternate timeline, and in every way.
This may sound dumb, but where is Kang? Is The "Maker" a Kang or is the council of Reeds like this Maker's contingency protocol/counter measure to the council of Kangs?
No mention of Dr. Doom? hmmm it does bring up the question of Would there be a Dr. Doom if there is no Fantastic Four? the two have been intrinsically intertwined. Did Marvel ever retcon Doom's origin story? I remember back in the 80s it was that Doom & Richards were college rivals and when a accident happened that burned Doom's face, he blamed Richards for it. That seemed to take place before that fateful flight that spawned the FF but seemed that he didn't become the Dr. Doom or take over Latveria until later, after the FF became a thing. Again that's according to info I read back in the 80s/90s. I don't keep up with the FF like I do with X-Men, so don't know if they retconned and gave different origin to Doom since.
The missing memories make me suspect that the future enemy will turn out to be, in fact, The Maker. They might even go 'full loop' with it and have it turn out that he's accidentally created the perfect trap for himself.
Setting up shop in Latveria AND you're a Reed Richards variant? The balls on the Maker
The morality of 1610 Reed Richards is what is really the most concerning thing about his character.
It’s flaw is informing everyone of your plans premature like other before him

That is an amazing version of Hulk and I'd love to see this Hulk get the same treatment Maestro
2:28 not to be confused with Jim Halpert
Hickmans reed is so damn interesting!!
Council of Reeds!? 😂 I’m done, I’m not even gonna bother trying to keep up!

I like change and don't want to see this new ultimate world somehow revert to the old one. Hopefully it stays as intended and becomes its own thing.
Need to bring back blonde hair Wolverine “jimmy”
Doom always shows up to save or destroy.
This has been a really good year or two for my favorite bad boys, Maker and Sinister.
As branded as Dr. Doom has become, he has always and forever out, classed by Reed Richards, in any configuration, in any alternate timeline, and in every way.
This was sweet 🎂
I guess that's make the Maker very popular in the sandbox 😂
And make it look easy!
You said Captain America was never found on the ice, does that not sound like something that will come back?
I'd say the maker is more of the unmaker of the marvel universe
The Maker is a WHOLE problem
An Immortus Engine would be for hypertime manipulation. So much more then a simple time machine. Its the entire TVA in a box.
Nice video
I'm guessing this Maker is not Forge?
The Makee a hoe…but the OG Ultimates universe is still alive though. Destroyed but alive.
There's also that Ultimate universe from the end of Spider-Men 2. Might still be a thing.
@@oscrmc8496 that's the Og Ultimates Universe

If he's so smart why hasn't he made a prosthetic chunk of head?
Why would he keep Reed alive? It isn't his ability that made him dangerous, it's his morality and his mind that are dangerous to villains.
Arrogance probably. Plus he thinks he's smarter than Reed
wait, how do we know it was Stark that tried to kill him? I might of missed that part on my read through.
🔥🔥🔥🔥
B W F did/will the maker have to deal with avengers 1 million bc?
Where's Wolverine in this universe? I think maker forgot about him.
This aged well.

Nah it's still the same origin
With Reed and Steve not being the picture im assuming Wakanda wouldnt have open its boarders and got involved
They never cares about the white world.

Why did Marvel decide to make The Maker and Professor X so similar looking?
I’d say that’s less Marvel and more Jonathan Hickman in this case.
Not feeling this at all!
Looks like my comment got deleted I didn’t mean to offend someone I must have said something really wrong I’m sorry.
