@@shropski1750 Not saying the dude in the car was in the right, but let's keep it real, that's not why he did what he did. The old guy flipped him off and biker rightfully felt slighted by it, but its not a good look for the biker to be the one damaging personal property, just as much as its wrong for the driver not to be taking others into account on the road, because as you said someone could get hurt. Judging by the video, the biker saw them before hand, but then they both veer away from eachother in time, but it easily could have been close.

I'm a biker so I can say this. Bikers stop riding around with your heads up your asses, thinking that other drivers see you. I always assume drivers are going to cut me off, so I'm never surprised or unprepared to stop when they do.

Yes it is, shoulders are typically not marked as bike lanes but bicyclists have the right to use them. All roads and highways (except specifically prohibited and marked ones) actually are legal for bicyclists (you just don't see it on highways often). However, it's illegal for mopeds and motorcycles to use them, so this guy was in the wrong.

3:24 I knew a rider that had gotten shot and because he survived, he felt bulletproof and spent every moment he rode in a car yelling at other drivers to drive better.
His mindset was that he’s not worried about getting shot because he survived once. It was an embarrassment riding around with him.
Fyi, in the video at the 5 minute mark, you noted that he's riding in a bike lane. Here in the states, those aren't bike lanes...that's the shoulder and is for emergency use only, so they should not have been there. As a biker myself, I do find it frustrating when I see young riders doing this. HOWEVER...all that said, the kid in the Nissan was way out of line here. Honking and then interacting like he did makes the whole situation way more dangerous for himself, the bikers, and the drivers around them. Leave traffic enforcement to traffic cops.
0:55 they are crazy all his guys threatening with wooden sticks, the wooden stick and a class D weapon, the guys are probably under the influence of alcohol, his deserves probationary sentences, all his guys could be polite and more sociable with the young biker to beat him up.
That happened in some third world, back ass country of Russia or some other crap whole of the world where there is no such thing as a Class D weapon. Too bad the rider wasn't packing. One well-placed shot usually scares the rest of the animals off.

5:00 that’s the shoulder of the road, not the bike lane, and it’s illegal to use as a tertiary lane... If a car needs to make a sudden stop in the shoulder due to a breakdown, flat tire, etc, it could put the biker who is breaking the law, and person who is following the law at risk. The driver had every right to be mad.

I’m just gonna say this, the bikes riding in what you called a "bike lane" it isn’t a bike lane, it’s an emergency break down lane, not meant for driving in, only for cars breaking down or cops pulling people over. But as a rider I use the lane all the time when traffic is way to backed up on a highway. But people get so butt hurt about when bikes lane splitting so we use the breakdown lane and they get mad even more. It’s a bike, we’re in and out of your way in an instant. But honestly, riders really don’t have to take the mirrors out on every car that cuts them off or does some dumb shit like that white F150 that piled out and made Everyone slam on their brakes including the cars, that could have been avoided. A lot of things we do we justify it in our heads at the time, but I used to be that guy, I’ve taken off a lot and I mean ALOT of mirrors and then I realized, that doesn’t do anything besides take out a mirror that the car really needs, and if someone punches it off then guess what? We’re literally making it worse because now they don’t have a usable mirror at all. Granted they might not have used it before it got punched off but now they really have more of a chance to hit someone or something because that mirror is now completely gone. A lot of times us riders overreact to the littlest and upbeat of things. I get it, when a car pulls out in front of you, you can’t get mad all the time, especially if they are like plenty of time and plenty of room for you to let off the throttle or go around then that’s what you should do, but like if the car pulls out with less than like 6 or y csr lengths then yeah that’s too close for comfort
This is where having a 9mm comes in handy

Bikers really do think they own the road. That biker who saw someone already pulling out of their residential driveway and the biker just just stayed the same speed and passed in the on coming at 35mph minimum in a 20mph.
Some do, just like countless drivers think they own it as well & are entitled to use it as their office, breakfast table, bathroom makeup mirror, social media update/texting/weekend planning center, etc, all without any consequence. It goes both ways.
A lot of times it's just..."gently & creatively reminding the motoring public of their wrongdoings & shortcomings" lol. The reason is because while an accident may only cause a deployed air bag & a broken arm or concussion in a car, it could be paralysis or death on a bike. Majority of the time some 4 letter words & a specific finger is a sufficient remedy - it really is pretty rare for a mirror to get busted out. It gets blown up a lot on youtube.
It's not that bikers think they own the road, they just have the same rights every car does, and they get angry when people either wilfully don't believe/ignore that, or forget it.

Whoever calls this a bike lane needs to stay off the road period. It's a solid yellow line...not labeled as a bike lane. It's an emergency pull over lane. This is why no one likes bikers thinking they're entitled to the whole road and lane splitting. Like some the comments here... I respect the bikers that actually show respect back 🤘
