I am so loving the look of the embossed glassine bags! Can't wait to try this for myself...will use an embossed glassine bag for my tag bags project. Spring forward to February, 2023...I was so inspired by your tag bag demonstration...beautiful!! This decorated file folder has such a shabby style...lovely work!

This is awesome. I love the sewing trick. I was just thinking that you could sew signatures into your journals if they aren't to thick. You'd just have to make your stitches on the longest stitch or the widest zigzag so as not to ruin your journal. I'm going to try that.
    I love the stencelung !!!

Thank you hon. It is a spellbinders embossing folder. I can get the number if you're interested. I've had it forever. Yes, not a bad idea to get my hubby to go in, but I also need more pink sewing thread and he does not like craft stores, so that might be tough. LOL xoxo ~Jenifer

So beautiful! Before i move onto Part 2, I wanted to ask - did you ever find a sugar free chocolate chip cookie recipe that you love? I have to eat low carb/low sugar due to health reasons. I used to be a caterer and pastry/candy chef. So, I LOVE sugar. That required me to get really creative so that I could still enjoy desserts and such. If you are interested, I developed a sugar free, healthy chocolate chip cookie recipe that even my kids love more than traditional chocolate chip cookies. Let me know if you want it.

@@ATraceofSparkle @ATraceofSparkle Okay, so first, the simple base to replace nearly all flour for any cookies or cakes recipes (off the top of my head, I can't think of any recipe this won't work in). Equal parts almond flour and oats. Put your oats in a food processor to make the same consistency as flour. Mix both together and this is now your 'flour' and is used in the same way and measurements. So, I will give you my two favorite recipes and then you can use the above and really modify most every other recipe (yes, Im serious!! And it's crazy delicious!)
      Chocolate chip cookies:
      Ingredients:
1 Cup of above flour, 1 cup regular oats, 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 cup softened butter, 1/2 cup of peanut butter (I use all sorts of spreads here if I want a change - protein cake batter spread, biscoff spread, white chocolate peanut butter, etc), 1/2 cup brown sugar replacement of choice (I use swerve, but whatever you like...), 1/2 cup sugar replacement (I use half splenda and a little over 1/2 allulose because it's not quite as sweet as sugar. 2 eggs, 1 1/2 tsp vanilla, 1 bag dark chocolate chips.
Heat oven to 375. Combine flour, oats, baking soda and powder and salt - set aside. Beat together butter, peanut butter and sugars till fluffy. Add in egg and vanilla. Slowly incorporate flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips (i also add in pecans alot of the time). Drop by spoonfuls onto baking sheet. Bake for around 11 mins till light brown.

      @@ATraceofSparkle Second one: Brownies!!!
Ingredients: 1/2 cup butter, 1/2 cup cocoa, 1 cup sweetener of choice, 2 eggs, beaten, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 dash salt, 1/2 cup of that flour I explained, 1/4 cup walnuts, 1 Tbls of instant coffee granules.
Oven 375. Melt butter and add cocoa and coffee, mix till smooth. Add sugar and vanilla and mix. Add eggs and beat in. Add flour and blend. Still in nuts. Butter and flour your baking pan. Bake approx 25 mins. This should be more of a chewy brownie, kinda like Little Debbie imo.
