I have had a 2007 Premier Grand Majestic 25 ft Pontoon with the PTX 35 in. Package for 10 years. We had the first fast "not your Grandma's pontoon " on the lake. Since then many people have gotten "performance " pontoons of other brands on the lake, but NONE compare to the 10 year old pontoon we have. Don't be foolish and buy a cheap imitation! !!!!!!! You will never regret buying a Premier. ..
I really tried looking at a pontoon boat to suit my needs as a fishing/family boat. But I have come to the conclusion that this just isn't even close to happening. You mention performance. But you don't indicate any. You mention speed. But you don't mention any speed. You mention turning radius. But you don't tell us what the turning radius is. You mention efficiency. But you don't say what the it is. You mention value. But you don't tell us how much they cost. You say that it's incredible at the :39 mark. But you don't show us any statistics. I mean compared to what? You call it a PTX, but what does that even stand for? A guy says that people are leaving V bottom boats and going to these boats. Sorry, Where? I don't doubt these are quality boats. But they aren't stealing sales from V or Cats, any other industry. I really wanted a pontoon boat. And this was truly the boat I thought would do it. But it's just not evolved enough to suit my needs. If I was inclined, I'd come to work for your company and solve all these issues. And BTW, if you are going to make a video of a pontoon boat kicking so much ass, I recommend getting some Alpha males aboard these boats with aggressive voices instead of whinny the poo. Sorry to sound like a pee pee. Out of all the pontoon boats I looked at, I liked Premeire the best. I especially liked Toms videos. He's a very intelligent man and gives a shit about his customers a great deal. If I were going to buy one, I'd buy one from him.
John - I absolutely love your comments above. You are so correct. Without throwing Premier Pontoons under the bus (or any other manufacturer) I will admit it is difficult for them to give specific details about performance. Performance can vary considerably due to many different conditions. Air temp, water temp, barometric pressure, fuel octane, load in boat, water conditions, propeller design. Therefore we did a video a while ago that may answer some of these questions. @@FamilymarineboatsMN lol, Thanks Tom, in the future, I will probably buy a pontoon and I'll buy it from you. But for now, I'll enjoy my CC Robalo Cayman 246. Thanks for your honest and non biased lessons. I learned a lot from you. I'll be coming back in a couple years to get my pontoon. Peace.. John
Lol, I haul ass past speed boats on my lake with my 12 y/o ptx, the look on their faces is priceless!!! Love this boat
You have to drive it to really feel the difference. There's nothing else like the 36" PTX on the market. Put a 300 hp on it. You won't regret it.
Is there a saltwater version of this boat?
Awesome boats!
