I firmly believe this character would be nothing without this music/theme and this theme would be nothing without this character which is just another layer of validity as to why they go together like bread and butter so well and never be matched IMO
It's a testament to John Williams genius that you can watch this essentially as a silent montage and still get caught up in the epic sweep and grandeur & still know what's going on. Bravo
I started my Indiana Jones journey starting with Raiders of the Lost Ark a few years back in the mid 2000s and my first halloween of Indy was okay at its best not close to accuracy. Then in my middle and highschool years, I went on the Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Forbidden Eye Ride at Disneyland, California many times with the music department for Music Recordings and Music at the Park 5 years straight. Now in 2023, with Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny premiering tmw on June 30th, Im glad to see and ride alongside Harrison Ford and his fellow adventurers in one of the best movie franchises in history. Thank You Indiana Jones for the Great Adventures you took us on.
Rewatching these now... Actually, they can be a little cartoonish... but if you watch them AS CARTOONS, they're pretty good movies! And Sean Connery in THE LAST CRUSADE is absolutely fantastic!

But also, you put the main themes and the love themes from all the movies in order and that is wonderful! I've never saw a tribute for Indiana Jones like this one... Easily the best tribute I’ve ever seen. The problem with others is that they show the same of one movie too much and kinda forget about the other movies in the franchise. But this one has the perfect amount of screen time for each.

Did u know that in Raiders Indy really played no part because the Nazis would have gotten the head piece to the staff of ,Ra anyways and found the Ark and taken it to the island where in the performance of the ritual incinerated themselves
You might be correct. But the Nazis were excavating in the wrong location, because they only had the information from one side of the staff of Ra headpiece. I suppose that they could have found the Ark eventually. But considering that Adolf was expecting results, I doubt that the officers in charge were willing to spend any more time searching for the Ark. Indy getting involved, doomed the Nazis.
