I feel like I remember the high idle sound from childhood. I wanna say, from when garbage trucks would do the thing where they hydraulically compress the garbage in the back? I guess that took more power than the standard idle could provide? Would this engine even be in a garbage truck in the early 90s?

the bus behind it is a crown supercoach, which looks a lot similar to this bus
