- On Sunday, Stephanie maidened her Bird Of Time old-school RC glider and it flew really, really well! Of course, as always, Vaughan and Ron gave encouragement and sage words of advice.

yes Laurie ....it was ahead of its time in the day...and still is a good performer. :)
thanks for posting. this old model is a soarer, obviously. the high aspect ratio, polyhedral wing, large wing area, low wing loading and short tail boom define this model's performance envelope. cheers
yes it is a high performance model indeed or it was in its day , but still a good bird even by today's standards . :)
I absolutely love that plane! :-) Slope soaring it along the bluffs in Carlsbad California is nearing perfection.

yes thats the same company but mine is not a 3 piece wing , its a two piece and no fiberglass on mine its a wooden fuselage cheers.

Stephanie Kent can’t argue with that ahah. Beautiful glider as well btw, I was wondering what motor and prop is in it since Flite Test revealed that they are only sold as pure gliders without motors. Happy flying!

I've read that these are excellent gliders. Didn't the Flight Test guys have one a while back? They really liked it.

I was told it was an over the counter mode by Dynaflight...its beautifully made and strong.
