Thank you for sharing! May I ask if you use anything to stop the paint drying quickly on you palette? When I paint, I struggle to stop the paint drying quickly on all surfaces. Do you gesso your canvases? Paint goes so smoothly on them. Thank you and sorry for the long message 🫢.
I don't gesso my canvases, but they are a smooth canvas. If you are using a very textured canvas, it can be helpful to do a couple of coats of gesso on them and sand smooth. As for the palette drying out I use a spray bottle fine mister to spray water on my paints. Keep them moist and don't disturb the main paint puddle (draw from one side only). Also no fans. You can add a humidifier to the room to help. And if all else fails try a stay wet palette.
