Well it depends on two things how much will it affect my but I probably could also turn it off the other thing is what are the data plans cuz if I can download that much data and everyone doesn't automatically give me a unlimited plan then that will be kind of bad because I'll be downloading way too much stuff and Wi-Fi will seem really really slow hahaha

@@dannywinget Already the sd855+ has a superior 5g chip. The s10 5g is the first attempt and will have poor efficiency. By this time next year, the 5g modems will be far superior offering greater consistency, better battery life, cheaper and better speeds, especially with the antenna tech improvements. Buying the s10 5g for the next 4-years of use will be a bad investment, in fact already the modem is dated. Wait till probably 2021 for a 5g phone is the sensible solution.

I agree that daily, actual usage is what's most important; not so much just the specs.
I think the 5G is a great feature.
But the issue is that it's not available as common across the US.
Also, I hear that there might be security issues with 5G.
So personally, I would suggest waiting at least til the S11 series comes out before you buy this.
Getting the first generation of any tech is not something I suggest.
At the very least, wait til the second generation.
Also, not having expandable storage support on the Galaxy S10 5G might be a con for many people.
It is nice that this has the headphone port which is important to some, but if it was between headphone port or expandable storage, I'd probably go with expandable storage.
With that said, I think perhaps it (again) is not worth buying the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G.
If you really want the 5G, wait til the Galaxy S11 5G comes out next year or wait a few months and see what the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 features.
For those who want a basic spec comparison between the S10+ and S10 5G...
    ⭐Galaxy S10+⭐
    Battery: 4100 mAh
    Storage: 128 GB, 512 GB, 1 TB
    Processor: Snapdragon 855
    RAM: 8 GB, 12 GB

    ⭐Galaxy S10 5G⭐
    Battery: 4500 mAh

Huh, never heard anything related to security issues with 5G. Could you clarify a bit on that?
The only issue with 5G is that due to how the wave travels, we are going to need a lot of signal relay stations, even specific for in doors as the 5G waves are not even strong enough to get through windows.

@@vincerones2242three years late to replying your comment, but no it was not brand new, I bought a used phone. Now in 2023, I'm still using it as my own phone everyday since I posted this comment. Mine is an Exynos processor, it was smooth, and still great in 2023. Ps. I bought the 256gb, and I've been very generous with content stored on this phone and there are still 40GB left.
Bad side is the battery is no longer as good as when I first bought it. It needs to be replaced as the battery life is weak. Now it cannot last the whole day without charge. One more is there's no more Android update and OneUI update, which I'm always excited about every year. Given all these reasons, I'm planning to buy a newer phone soon.
it was such a good price for what I'm getting though. I'm still gonna keep this phone with me and not sell it somewhere.

I'm saying that if a 5G phone is better than a non-5G phone, then turning off the 5G on the 5G phone still makes it a better phone. This is exactly what I've done, and my phone, with 5G disabled for now is better than the S10+. Better cameras, better battery, larger screen etc. So there is EVERY point in buying a 5G phone, if the phone WITHOUT USING 5G, is exactly what you want. Thanks for the informative review. Wife and I will be upgradin' our s8's in Oct. (our contract ends) and likely go with the s10. Camera specs are always my key concern - I've liked the s8 and hope the s10 will please me equally.

ur gonna be blown away by the display, speed performance and under screen finger print sensor 🤔 u might not like how they took out the iris scanner from S8 & S9 and intelligent scan of the note 9, so now the galaxies have no secure facial unlock

I recently ditched my 2017 Mac Book pro to go back to a Windows laptop for music and video production editing. Apple is way over rated your basically paying for logo not the product and it has too many propietary restrictions, after watching this video I think im about to ditch my Iphone X for this Samsung S10 5G. Awesome video man👍🏼⭐️🎥

I am considering either the S10 5G or the S10 plus. I need the headphone jack as I use my phone to record for my TH-cam channel, and use a Rode external mic.
I know in the small area I live, we may not have the 5G for quite some time, So I wonder is it worth having this phone in the meantime?

Insane 5g speeds.....until everyone converts from 4g lol
Same thing that was done and said about 4g. The hype is fake!
But the s10 lineup are great phones and buying any of them is worth the investment!

but i doubt kenya will be getting the 5g phones of samsung because most govts are against the 5g ..
india, Belgium, norway etc all the rest of 95% govts are against having it

Why would anyone buy current tech for the future even if it's 5G? It just doesn't make sense. You basically buy this phone for the better experience (screen, battery, etc) and the 5G is a bonus if you have access to it.
