Most of them understand the basics but understanding and speaking the language are two different things. Asode from the foreign swaggers, Taeyong and Yuta seem to understand English more than the others. They just need to be more confident because they are getting there. this was amazing! i really appreciate how encouraging and lovely the interviewers were, i think despite being nervous, they had fun! :) very proud of all the members, especially those not as fluent in the language, they still made the effort to be involved and committed themselves to using english! they must have been practicing hard; it seemed like taeyong was able to understand most of what was being said before johnny, jaehyun, or mark translated, HAECHAN'S ENGLISH his pronounciation was very western! he could express himself in full sentences, that was very impressive :) when they demonstrated all their bodily talents HAHA mark's "my ear was shy" was so cute aw :') when they were asked which KPOP group they wanted to collaborate with, it was clear they were taken aback. they are so used to being asked about western artists that they hadn't expected that - johnny did a good job smoothly directing the conversation in that direction. wish winwin had the chance to share his selfie taking tips before the interview was cut short, but super glad all the members had the chance to participate more or less!
