  • The community of Delft on the Cape Flats is ranked fifth highest in SA for its murder rate, which has become a grim daily reality for its residents. Now, the community policing forum is turning to technology to try to turn the tide against the scourge of gangsterism.

"Like all other townships in South Africa, it was built on a foundation to Fail...". As much as it is easy to forgive, it is very difficult to forget how the Apartheid set black people for failure and misery as the evidence are still visible.

@@kazkasainca770 you do not really have a choice. It depends on where you grew up in. The average person will tend to be influenced by their surrounding areas. Notice I said the average person because as much as it is possible to escape from a gangster ruled area or areas ruled by poverty for instance, it actually takes a mentally strong or somewhat talented or gifted person to do so and there are very few such people. Most of our people are still stuck in generational poverty which is inherited by generation after generation. The only way this cycle can be broken is not by some few individuals who do try to change their communities, but its by the government taking drastic measures that would benefit the "Average" South African because if the average person moves forward, it shows the country as a whole is moving forward.

For a mother to see her child take the wrong road and make the wrong choices that is going to hurt them or cost them their life, is heartbreaking. We carry our children for 9 months, go through the pain of childbirth. Our children are born innocent and when we hold them in our arms for the first time, all we ever wish for them is to grow up happy, surrounded with love, peace and joy. We don't give birth to gangsters, we don't give birth to drug addicts, we don't give birth to rapists nor murderers. Society hijacks our children, they get sucked into the darkness of a sick world with a perception that this is the life that will give them everything they going to need to prosper in life. As mothers we must not stop praying for our children. Lay out our declaration at God's feet and plea the Blood of Jesus over their lives. For His grace and mercy to follow them every step they take in life. To this heartbroken mom, I pray you will find comfort in God and the promise that one day your family chain will be linked again🙏🙏

A very noble use case. Such a pity the SACAA will require: a) licensed pilots, b) using registered aircraft, c) operating under an ROC.

Yea, they have had big drones for a long time, some guys are trained to fly it but they aren't given clearance to fly it in urban areas and now they just stand in storage for the most part. So many loops you need to jump

Our country needs the death penalty!! Crime is so high because gangsters look forward to going back to prison after there crime being committed where they can live comfortably. Our police force needs to be better trained as they are very useless, u call them thinking that they will respond actively but sadly they only come after 1-2 hours.
