Its amazing how this video pops up today , i was at home depot trying to find some nuts and bolts to modify one myself with the height gage set that would sit on top of the pipe while the bit to cut the abs pipe would be perfectly level on the inside to get a perfect cut , i feel like siri is following me around ans listening to my thoughts as well , crazy world we live in
I need that! The one I have from home depot doesn't fit an impact. Of course it has fallen out of my drill chuck into traps several times (drill chucks don't like to stay tight when lateral pressure is applied)
it let's you mix ALOT more deck mud with out running over, the bucket that he pulls out is cut out at bottom then slid in makes the inside bigger allowing for more mud not running out of just the normal bucket👌👍
The one you say from Amazon may be cheaper. But the one you buy at home depot, that's the same thing works perfectly fine than using mine for years. And Florida is nothing but concrete. But that's just in a pinch. What real professional plumbers use or tile Guys that want to buy the tool is an inside Dye cutter like a makita. There's like 350 bucks. And they have a variable speed that would be your best option.
I've never used one of these but why don't they have a guide on the top so you don't have to eyeball the top to see the depth. Just set the depth and cut. Seems like that would be much more accurate.

Mockups are a very cool way to try out new tools.
Nice, I did plumbing for a year and these things are great, the DeWALT one looks sic!
I love it!

Is there a link to attachment set up for what you used to mix deck mud for this test by chance?

worth every penny!
Is the diamond wheel replaceable? Thanks
I believe it is
You mix with a regular old DEWALT drill? Please tell me I don’t need to purchase the big one to mix thinset.
Yes we do, no need for the big one
Can someone explain the double bucket system with the deck mud?
