From what I understand, Nomura had originally intended for Noctis and Sora to meet. Noctis was meant to be a parallel of Sora but given what happened with XV, I guess it didn't work out too well. Now we have Yozora as a recreation of Noctis ("This isn't what I really look like").

I've also noticed that the necklace the girl in that trailer wears is a silver star; maybe a very subtle hint.
