    When I pray over my food I am realizing how my gratitude for where my food comes from and the work it takes to get to me falls way to short. My prays are just words flying out of my mouth. Not anymore. I will no longer without thought pray without sincerity for those who work so hard to grow and pick the food that ends up on my plate and in my body. Thank you for the back breaking work you do with no complaints or scorn. Thank you.

    Another awesome video Logan. Great to see Ben. Tell Frank things happen to us all. Don’t sweat it. I know you’re running in a thousand directions right now between picking, markets and getting the corn maze. Please find done time to rest buddy. You produce some of the best videos on TH-cam for both content and editing. Definitely a talented guy. Hope you have enough help lined up for your maze. I’m thinking you’re going to be packed.

    Frank is a real go-getter. When my vegetable farm was open, I would have been glad to have had a crew of workers as good as him. And the funny part is, I was thinking that just before he spilled the basket! But I still would have hired him in a heartbeat. Pay him well, he is a keeper!

    Back n leg killing work. Beautiful wagon
    Nice early fall crops.
    Tough summer here. 65 days with no rain, 24 days straight over 90d F. Sure stopped the tomato n cuke blooming
    Love my automatic drip irrigation at nite. Easy to change days n hours depending on weather forecast n soil moisture
    Could not afford sprinker watering on municipal water
    Lots of giant slicer Beefsteak tomatoes. Largest I've ever grown, dense meat sweet slicer. Make the best toast, thick slice tomato, bacon sandwitch
    All organic.
    Only use 10% Acetic acid spray weed killer, death on most weeds hot dry day. Only affect, Lowers the soil PH from my high 7.5

    As always, I love to see you guys harvesting the veggies. Fresh, ripe, and ready for market. Ben looked like he was chillin out there driving the tractor. AND speaking of the tractor.........
    You have no idea the memories that brought back just now listening to the putt-putt of an old johny popper. Grew up around those things, mostly the old tricycle ones where I was from.
    Some real workhorses for sure. And the pop pop sound they made was I don't know........ kind of relaxing I guess. Sad thing about them was they could be dangerous, and deadly as well if not properly operated.
    Anyhow......... Great video today, and thanks for the memories. :)

    Hey Logan great harvest. Question why do you harvest the dill root and all? Does it keep fresh longer? We just cut and it keeps coming up. Gotta love Frank!! LOL God Bless, Mike

    • @BroyansFarm
      @BroyansFarm  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes we pull the dill completely out of the ground, we usually plant a good amount of it but due to the heat this year some did not come up, and then some got weeded out. God bless!! Logan

    • @BroyansFarm
      @BroyansFarm  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends on where you are from, we do not plant seed directly in the ground. We do the seedlings in our greenhouse, let the plants mature, then we plant them. If you go back to the beginning of the summer you should see all of this within my videos. Hope this helps!!
