@@cmilter6360 Getting out early is good but there is so much to explore outside of the central lakes too. The major problem is people leaving rubbish behind, it has gotten so bad that they had to close a campsite in Borrowdale a few weeks back. I take out an extra rubbish bag when I go out now.
When I watch your videos it reminds me there is very little needed for me to be content. Nature, open spaces, walking... I am so looking forward to having a week off work next week to walk whilst the autumn air is still lovely. 🍂🍃

Great video Athena. I think many people this year are discovering places to head out to so close to home. I know I certainly love having the Peak District so close by and even if I don’t make it into the hills, the local river and parks are great too.

Beautiful countryside as you come into Autumn in Australia we are in Spring, we don’t have many day of ice on the ground in Queensland bur sometimes we get an odd day during winter, and with the world the way it is is we all need to get out occasionally even if only for a short time look forward to your next video Cheers Stay safe

However will you hate me for saying that despite all those fabulous shots, my favourite part was Oslo's ears moving in tandem from 04:20 - 04:30 lol. I have Waldridge Fell close to me, a rare example of lowland heath & a walk up there during the week helps when I haven't got time to nip over to the Lakes. Beautifully done, Athena xx
