There will be no complaining from me. I like both your channels. I watch both. This video is exactly what I wanted at this time. Rain sounds are my favorite.
FYI, this channel features ASMR videos. I've seen so many comments that complain/comment negatively about no talking or "fake" sounds. So much so that is clear that many people haven't bothered to understand what ASMR is. I would encourage a quick Google search. That might make it more clear why sounds like thunderstorms and rain are achieving the goals of a video channel like this one.

This channel was created for people who want ZERO talking. That’s why it’s called, A QUIET PLACE ADVENTURES. Some people just aren’t happy unless they are complaining. Why don’t you create a TH-cam page and quit cutting others down???

Luke, I thank you for creating these quite place videos. I began following you in and around 2017 when my twin boys who are now 28 began backpacking and camping. Fast forward to 2024 and my current age of 65, I now cherish your videos even more now due to my knee issues and not able to hike like I use to. Thank you for giving me the experience of enjoying the outdoors through your videos

How could somebody complain about these videos? The name of the channel tells you what it is. Luke I’m glad to see that you made it out of there. OK. I was only 12. The one time I heard a pine tree fall. We were having a Ice storm For a week we were stuck in the house because we couldn’t get down the driveway cause there were trees laying in it. And for a few days you would hear these god-awful cracks and then occasionally you would hear
Bang and one more pine would fall.
With the pine trees, trying to make Susie widow, you still did an excellent job on this video. I hope you guys make it through the next three days which we’re going to have rain and snow. Snow in April.

Now this was one sloppy windy rainy day loved your set to get out of the elements and the sound of the trees blowing in the wind with rain falling , I find it relaxing, we are having this weather in Ontario as I watch this thanks Luke can't blame ya for leaving . Terrible weather.

Hope that wasn't a long hike in and back for such a short stay. The sounds of rain is mesmerizing, but the sounds of trees falling nearby in strong winds... not so much. Safety first, always.

The setup was way too easy :) I wonder if it would have been easier if you used the hiking pole instead of the cordage? But, the wind I would agree is a huge factor either way because of the tpee.

Trees fall down on calm dry days. Posting this video after you didn't finish the mission goes against your motto: "Strength and honor". The strength would have been you staying the night. The honor would have been not posting the video. Personal disappointment.

Maybe. Maybe not. It certainly sounds great regardless. I do know he’s talked about this topic a while ago, apparently he has quite the mic setup throughout the area he’s camping and filming in. I could be wrong, but I believe he said something along those lines. Again, either way, the audio sounds great.
