As Jimin, Jin, and V sit on the steps of their old dorm building when RM walks up, I wondered what a shock it would be for those people living there now to be running out the door and seeing BTS just hanging out on the stoop, lol.
That would be crazy, I would run back inside 😆

Idk why my comment yesterday didn’t go thru. But if you scroll Jin’s instagram you’ll see a post of them in front of Jamsil Stadium, dated July 12th, 2022.
This run BTS episode was the first time BTS was seen together, after the announcement on June 14. Everybody had separate schedules, fans were forced to adapt to this change, but deep down we had this unsettling feeling becuz the media was twisting BTS’s words into hiatus, all the messes & statements made from various sides, pretty much trying to make armys think they should expect the worst.
And suddenly, BTS are out on the streets with each other, obviously still together and having fun. It clears up our worries. And jhope’s MORE came out 3 days later, July 15. It gives us the strength to focus on individual projects knowing BTS ARE together
This is the background of this episode. So lucky they filmed it outside & indeed fans in the neighborhood were taking photos and blasted them on TL
The 3 Kims (Kim Taehyung, Kim Seokjin & Kim Namjoon) went to the old dorm along with Jimin. How interesting is that the 3 Kims ended up going to the same place. So cool.

Life without BTS chaos is unimaginable.
I remember when I saw this episode and it was emotional watching them near the old dorm/former Big Hit headquarters, which is nowadays full of messages in the walls from lucky fans around the world.
Not this one, but their oldest dorm is a café now, that preserved their memories there (we have many videos from their humble begginings in this house). You can find the old videos and this café tour on youtube. I wish I could go there and have a cappuccino in Jimin's bedroom for example. Or wash my hands in their old bathroom 😁🤗>
The dorm that became a cafe is not their oldest one. That's the dorm they lived at around the time they first went to the Billboard. (BS&T era.) In this ep, the four-member gathered building is where they lived during the most financially difficult time.

Why play ‘Spring Day’? I think it’s because the song begins with ‘I miss you…’ (since some members are missing the others at Jamsil Stadium, Lotte World, and the Han River park).😅 I’m struck by the members’ apparently genuine telepathic thoughts about these 3 places during this episode.💜

I'm so glad the members are so loving to each other. V, JK, and Suga have received plenty of backlash within their own community(let alone international) for their little habits and characteristics. "They dont fit in" or they're not the same. They've all experienced this of coarse and it's been hard on them all. Incredibly. But I just feel V, JK and Suga are more visually, behaviorally, idk, adjacent? It's hard to explain. As someone with Autism, I feel connected to them bc of how they react to the things around them. I know Suga has spoken about his neurodivergence to some extent (OCD, ADHD etc) and that doesn't mean any of them are autistic, I'm not saying they are. I'm just trying to explain how they're behavior and thought process feels very familiar to me and people call them out for it *a lot* and I know how much that sucks and I'm always just really pleased to see how the other 4 rally around them and support them, even when they're giving them a hard time with jokes etc. Seeing them happy and comfortable with others makes me happy too.
I think blurring the eyes of the mascot at Lotte World was a tongue-in-cheek nod to protecting identity. I mean, we all know where he went, and hiding the eyes of a giant mascot does nothing. It wasn't about the brand. It's just the kind of sassy thing the editors would do. Also - BTS represents Lotte Duty Free. 😏

You said you haven't found wine you like. I'm super picky about my wine, but on the cheaper side of the spectrum. I would recommend Risata Moscato d'Asti, it's in a blue bottle. There's also one that's in a red bottle, that I think is also good. It's light, fruity and sparkling. Also, I always recommend Arbor Mist for people who struggle to find tasty wine. It's nothing fancy at all, but it's darn delicious. I'll never understand why people like wines that taste like wooden barrels and forest floors- but each to their own.
Also! You don't have to watch it on Disney, you can buy it on Weverse Global. I think the Weverse version is supposed to have a commentary at some point. But I could be lying.
