We have those in the Netherlands as well on some police cars that show up in areas with many tourists. An international / American siren so that international tourist who are not used to two-tone sirens can recognize them

As an American, its weird seeing mostly stock cars as police cars. Our police car lights also “wigwag” the oem car head and tail lights. Seeing a car with stock headlights and just a blue on the roof almost looks like a fake cop impersonator.
