I’ve found that winding bobbin to half speed helps avoid some of the problems I’ve experienced when winding them at full throttle. Many times when I wound the bobbin at full speed, the thread wraps around the bobbin spindle and it’s just a mess cutting it loose.
I highly recommend people purchase the 10 spool stand that is compatible with the stair and the dream machine line. If one is doing projects that require a lot of thread changes it’s not cumbersome as changing thread all the time.
When I got my machine ,there was only 2 hoops ,I had to complain to. The shop ,I didn’t get the Accessories box or the spool stand ,the shop said it wasn’t included
@beverleylangley2508 If you purchased the XE2/XE1 it only comes with two hoops. The accessory box contains feet for sewing so it is also not included with these models due to being an embroidery only machine. The spool stand is not included with either machine. It is a fantastic machine though with great features on the machine and if you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
There are different bobbin cases for different purposes. The "utility" bobbin case is for regular sewing and has a green paste on the screw to prevent adjustments. The "embroidery" bobbin case can be adjusted and doesn't have this paste. The main difference is the tension. Many people use one bobbin case for embroidery and another for regular sewing to avoid constantly adjusting the tension.
@tammyeaton4791 You can use a jpeg image and sent it to the machine via the App or you can put it on a USB and access the file this way. You will then be able to use My Design Center to create your embroidery design. It only likes images that are clear, crisp and simple.

@tammyeaton4791 We agree, sometimes it is best to do a meduim speen when winding your bobbins.

Why do you have to change the bobbin from sewing to embroidery?

Gary, would it be possible to take a picture of this with my snap app and import it to the embroidery side of the machine and turn this into a motif?
