Here's to Ian trying to moderate the temperature of his wife.
I will forever be thankful to Bob and this series for introducing me to the beauty that is ‘Hot on the Heels of Hertbreak’
Same! Too good, love beautiful south but hadn't heard this one before Catterick, it kinda reminds me of like a john prine song or may e an alabama 3 take on a john prine song haha
Mixing Reece Shearsmith with Vic and Bob is like dropping acid at a kids party. This is such a Northern delight.
Is dropping acid at a kid's party a typical Northern delight?
@@DontTouchMyCroissant Yes
@@DontTouchMyCroissant several acid... the more acid, the further northern.
Don't forget Mark & his Chest Weasels
Incredibly underrated series. Mah Gwaahhd!
Vic and bob, and Matt Lucas, and Reece shearsmith and Mark Gatiss... it’s like a glorious fever dream
Ah No!
Tim Healey is superb in whatever he does, but he's the hidden gem in this.
17:18 beautiful little segment with Chris talking about the wildlife on the river .
Reese Shearsmith always seems to play the perfect psychopath . Not that I am personally acquainted with the perfect psychopath. 😵
I’m feasting on this series, I can’t imagine a better thing to watch on New Year’s Day in lockdown.
I swear the "You're only 47!" scene makes me laugh every time 15:58 🤣
I adore this series. It's a treasure.
yes .... absolute genius
"Something fucking Persian anyway" One of the funniest lines ever.
I'm like that after eating parsnips.
Nobody ever seems to talk about Tim Healey in this.
got to keep the wife warm lmao
It was struck by lightening, when it was proud! 😂😂🤣
Vic looks like Peter sutcliff .
That was the whole point. He said so in an interview!
I knaaw
Gatiss plays a brilliant Assange. ...
Stag night is it ?
Amazing bullet time effect ;p
Far too much work went into Mark Gatiss' character, brilliant.
Baboosh Animation true. 😂
He looks so weird in this!
I knooooowww!
He looks like the legendary Blues guitarist Johnny Winter lol
I know
Tim Healy,underrated gold.
Morwenna Banks is gorgeous
Don't I know it! 🥰
Absolutely! 😍
It probably says something about me that I’m way more attracted to Reece Shearsmith when he plays psychos
Don't get me wrong I love Reece but when doesn't he play a psycho haha - works for me everytime
Fuck me frog-legged. The Matrix bit with the bullet dodging was sensational.
Such a great comedy from Vic and Bob.
Do u know of any other one of comedy's like this by vic and bob ?
@@15-Peter-20 the weekenders.
I know !
'Fucking Chaffinch'
The Beautiful South………
Amazing!,,,,,
‘It’s only the sure shot actually feels the pain’
Is it Giro day?
I had been wondering for the first 4 episodes what Jeff Beck had done in the title music until about 20 seconds in to this episode and oh! There he is!
Can't believe I've never heard of this series before, feel a right amateur...hand!
😂😂😂 I thought this was the new " The Marvels " ad when I saw the thumbnail 😂😂😂
The special effects though!😂👌
Thanks for uploading!
Wish they would do another series
Thanks! when will ep 5 be up? I've really enjoyed this.
Give me...your...fanny fresh!
I think I ran over a trout...
Who else is watching this in 2020 whilst hiding from Bill Gates Chest Weasels?
I had chest weasels once. Nasty disease
Garden centres are soaked in blood, globally.
Cgi on that cigarette btw
That's BBC money there ..
"And the private member itself"
A country called Switzerland ha ha !
Peanuts!
Am going to be late for tea mummy I’ve got a flat tyre just be a little bit late
Mmmmmyyyy gaaaadd!
You're only 47....
Who plays the yank cop? Reece or Vic
Your only 47!
what I like about Reeves and Mortimer is that each skit is apropos of nothing
Is it me or did Denzel steal the garden centre showdown idea for the equaliser?
My cold wife 😅😅😅
Chest weasels.
Does anyone know any other comedy's like this with vic and bob
Have you seen The Club? It's a one-off they did where they tested out some of the characters for Catterick. I think it's on youtube somewhere...
The Club was a segment of their sketch show Bang Bang - it's been compiled by someone and uploaded. The Weekenders from 1992 was similar to Catterick, if you can find that.
Check out the meat festival.
@@FiveSigma72 yes it was brilliant
@@ppotter OK ty
was this before or after league of gentlemen?
after
damn, that looks so much like Oliver tree in the thumbnail.
26:50 ^^
Is a prat the same thing as a fanny? Fanny is such a funny word
23:30
That homemade bomb was shit.
chestweasels...
I hate otters and any other horrid creature like snapping turtles and beaver that like to steal my fish
@James Donnelly I was born on Jupiter
@James Donnelly ya he's kool
Chest Weasels, and two dozen of his closest relatives, mostdef still plays for Man United.
This is not bad but a million miles away from something like Farther Ted
Comparing this to Father Ted is like saying "Well it's alright Mr Dali, but Constable's trees are better"
@@gavpowell1981 No a better analogy would be that's ok Donavan but it's not Dylan
@@david-pb4bi I am largely unfamiliar with Donovan's work, but either way, what Vic and Bob do with this is a long way from a straighforward sitcom like Father Ted, however excellent the latter may be.
@@gavpowell1981 Dylan is a genius who got the Nobel prize we all could do this show if given the time
@@gavpowell1981 Ha, very good but still think I could do that nonsense without the monkeys ' You are right from your side I am right from mine we are just one too many mornings and a thousand miles behind' Dylan
